Since news broke that the IRS targeted conservative organizations due to their political views, some on the left have celebrated the actions. The latest to do so is Bette Midler, who took to Twitter Thursday to thank the IRS for going after the small government movement, Twitchy reported.
"The IRS overtaxing The Tea Party? I never thought I'd say this to the IRS - THANK YOU! THANK YOU FOR DENYING 501C-4 to any group who hates," she wrote.
Some of her followers expressed support for her position.

People who applaud the use of the government to go after groups they do not like are the ones that complain the loudest when their own group is targeted. It is obvious they really do not believe in a free society, but one ruled by people like them. Democracy, in any of it’s forms, are not what Midler and her ilk prefer.
Another Hollywood retard with more money than brains endows us with their wisdom.

I am puzzled as to where they get the idea that the Tea Party “hates.” Hates the destruction of the Constitution? Hates excessive taxation? Hates big government?

So I just opened my itunes music list and I deleted all my Midler songs. A grand total of 4. 3 of the songs are covered by other artists in my music library so no huge loss. Normally I ignore rants and raves of the loony artist crowd but occasionally they go over the line in my mind and this instance was such a case. I am not consistent in this nor do I care to be. Still have Streisand and Springsteen and a bunch of other loonies in there but they may go at some point too. If the level of negativity rises to such a level in listening to certain artists that there is no longer enjoyment then its bye bye. Bette just reached her best before date with me. It might have happened when she said some vile stuff about W a few years ago but that didn’t do it at the time but this did.
Bette Midler would have been a kapo in the camps in the early 1940s.
