This is totally meaningless... There’s more bacteria, but it’s not necessarily HARMFUL bacteria like you’ll find in fecal matter. Hell, for every cell in your body you are carrying thousands of foreign bacteria around... This is just alarmist garbage news.
I had a surgeon tell me that is you ran a cotton swap over the walls if the average hospital room it would be covered with all sorts of pathogenic bacteria.
In related news, IIRC, cheese, yoghurt and various other foods are loaded with “bacteria”.
Our county health department told me that all of the springs and shallow wells and some deep wells being used by homeowners in the county had some “bacteria” but were not a health threat.
A local restaurant where my sister held her wedding rehearsal dinner was recently on one of those “fix my restaurant” cable shows. The bacteria in their ice maker was about a 14 on a 1-10 scale. Have not ordered anything anywhere containing ice since I saw that.
A girl performed this experiment several years ago and concluded the same thing. Toilet water has fewer bacteria than ice machine ice.
I quit eating at fast-food joints, a few months ago. The taco-shell licker sealed it for me the other day, and now, this. Yuk.
