Take a Walk Down Memory Lane: The 1986 Amnesty Debate

In this mini-film by FAIR we take a trip into the past to the 1986 amnesty debate and find that the same arguments being made today in support of (and against) amnesty sound very familiar to what we heard 27 years ago.

(Excerpt) Read more at youtube.com ...

TOPICS: Business/Economy; History
KEYWORDS: 1986; aliens; amnesty; immigration
I was curious to see how the debate was done back in 1986.

Found this video.

Talking points sound exactly the same.

SSDD it seems.

In 20 years from now when we are doing this all over again it will still sound the same.

Sorry, you are being way too optimistic. If the amnesty passes, the USA will cease to exist in much less time than that.

Yep, SSDD. No play, no bounce.
Rinse and repeat.

My prayer is that the political scum will start talking about changing the nation's name from "America" to something else. The way "Rhodesia" became "Zimbabwe", for example. I would like to see the memory of the former America I grew up in preserved in some way. Same with the military. Just close down the Marine Corps and leave its reputation intact. Let there be a new "post sodomization" era for the military and give all the branches new names. Then the old-timers could still talk with pride about their days in the military before the faggots were welcomed in with open anuses.

Just thinking about America as it is today makes me throw up in my mouth a little. Are there any readers out there with friends, children, or relatives who are thinking about joining the military? Talk them out of it! Why would they want to risk anything, or give up years of their lives, in service to a "Commander-in-Chief" who is an America-hating African communist scumbag?

The first half of the video is interesting. In 1986 nobody was sure that most of the amnestied illegals would vote for Dems or worse, and so at that time the main points argued against amnesty were fairness (to legal immigrants) and welfare. Now we know how they would vote, but now the GOP is afraid to say it. Or maybe that’s what they want, because those voters would be easier to manipulate?

The Year 2177: In remarks delivered today, Republicrat Senator Miranda De La Hoya Veracruz Cardinal said that the time had come to reform our broken immigration system, and to bring the 168 million space aliens from the planet Kaplutus in the Haganog system out from the shadows, and give them a Path to Citizenship.

Afraid to say or face it.

Low income illegals are extremely unlikely to ever be GOP voters.
