An 11-year-old Latino boy whose singing of the national anthem at the NBA Finals set off a barrage of racist tweets earned a roaring ovation in an encore performance before Game 4 between the San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat on Thursday night.

Miami media
is always eager to stoke false charges of racism.....and so, predictably, at least one of the stations covered this "news".

The number of offensive tweets, according to the report I saw in Miami, was.....wait for it......TWO DOZEN!

A quick google search for "san antonio singer" in the news category yielded more than 2,500 articles.

In other words, it appears the left wing media is trying to make a national issue out of a handful of tweets.

I don't remember the national media outcry when a group of Dayton Ohio black teens attacked whites and used racial slurs while doing so....or when a black woman told her dog to attack a white female reporter last week.......

Then it became clear....this little boy is being used as a PAWN by the Democrat mayor of San Antonio (keynote speaker at the rat convention last year)...

For all we know, the racist tweets might also be set-ups....or, perhaps, racist remarks from blacks.....but if so, the media WON'T report that fact.

When I saw this issue covered on Inside Edition, or whichever show it was on, I just knew it was going to be played to the hilt. All to allow amnesty and a greater invasion from Mexico. The kid is innocent, which goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyway.

Keeping whites feeling guilty so that they don’t question their dispossession is one of the most important jobs of the Cultural Marxist.

Something is up....especially with the push for Illegal Alien Amnesty.

I thought he was maybe a big Three Amigos fan who could sing

If I had to guess, I'd say that two dozen rabid Obama fans, who think amnesty is vitally important, decided to tweet some hateful stuff -- and then notified the media that "hey, you might want to look at these awful tweets ... maybe write a page one story about 'em".

It's how the Left works.

Why is he dressed like one of the “Three Amigos?” I mean, even Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass were more subtle. Just curious if this is common at “events”, or special celebrations, or something else that I’m missing.

I saw a replay of the kid singing the Star Spangled Banner. He sang it beautifully. He sang it right.

He did a much better job than most pop culture singers who try to turn it into a pop song.

He sang it like Francis Scott Key wrote it.

Did this kid forget the words, like Christina Aguilera or screech it and grab his crotch like Roseann Barr?
No?
I am reminded of the best rendition of the anthem I ever heard, Whitney Houston at Super Bowl XXV. Her performance brought tears to my eyes.
If this kid did half as good a job, hats off to him.
And my thanks to his father for serving our nation in the United States Navy.
Tweet that, Liberal Media.

Anything wrong with that?

No, nothing “wrong” with the attire - I was simply curious. Got an answer?

Celebration of one’s heritage. San Antonio is a city of Latinos.

If I remember correctly from the bit of interview I saw, he has mariachi singers/musicians in the family and he loves mariachi. So I guess he wore his costume when he sang.

He did a great job.

Whoever assisted in dressing this kid knew all to well what they were doing. That is the bottom line.

Common sense would tell anyone, with the immigration bill front and center, this wouldn’t be advisable.....unless of course it was purposeful to draw attention and get the traction we see now....I think it was purposeful.

Having been to San Antonio many times, that’s what I figured. I’ve seen a number of latino musical performances along the Riverwalk. Those performers that chose “heritage” clothing wore subtle (but elegant) Charro suits, rather than more heavily-embroidered ones that scream “Mariachi”. But, different strokes.
