Watermelon in cookie form. The perfect summer food?
Nabisco hopes Oreo purists and non-fans alike will be taking a bag of the new, limited edition fruit-flavored cookies to their next picnic.
The Watermelon Oreos, available only at Target (TGT) for $3 a package, feature a bright pink and green creme filling between two vanilla-flavored cookies; the creme bears a strong resemblance to Play-Doh. Two cookies contain 150 calories, 7 grams of fat and 21 grams of carbohydrates.
Food bloggers had plenty to say about the new summer flavor. JunkFoodGuy wrote that he was expecting an awful fake watermelon smell to come wafting out but there was none. As soon as I bit into one of these Limited Edition Watermelon Golden Oreos, I got an immediate light watermelon taste. Ill just say it right off the bat
I liked these. A LOT.

I have the slightest idea why but gotta but racist some how.
Somebody try them and let us know, kk? :D
Or communist. Green on the outside, red on the inside...
I know. This is too many jokes waiting to happen.
only half racist
That ought to interest the kiddos.
In flavor or appearance?
or my little finger green on the inside red on the outside the good news is i finally did surgery on it and i can now bend it a little
We got some. They’re good.
Should be one chocolate and one vanilla cookie with red on the inside.
The new Oreo; white on the outside and enviro-gay on the inside.
You do your own surgery? Nice to know I’m not the only one...
For the past two months I have been seeing unusual Oreos which are both on sale and have a coupon on them which is good for a dollar off if you also buy a gallon of milk.
I just about always can use a gallon of milk so I basically get them for a dollar. They have all been pretty good tho I don’t usually buy Oreos.
Reminds me of when I just HAD to HAVE some Whoppers Strawberry Shake balls to make a cake. Only Wallmart had them so I drove way out there. It turned out pretty good, had pink fluffy 7-minute frosting. Then I cut the balls in half and pressed them around the cake into the frosting and put crushed pieces in the filling between the 2 layers.
These don't look like something I'd like but I'd try one. Watermelon is a weak, subtle flavor, and if you tried to strengthen it or make it artificial, I don't think I would like it.
I'm thirsty for some kiwi strawberry soda pop. I just love that flavor combo, used to get slushes at the DQ before it closed.
I assume that would be a "serving size."
Has anybody ever just taken two Oreos from a box and put the rest away?
Back when I was eating junk food, I would eat 168 cookies easily. One after the other after the other.
That would have amounted to 12,600 calories, 588 grams of fat and 1,764 carbohydrates.
I would venture to say that my serving size is a lot closer to other people's serving sizes than the "two cookies.
In a Jolly Rancher hard candy, that flavor really works.
