Thanks Perdogg. The 10-inch tall relic, an offering to the Egyptian God Osiris, was found in a mummy's tomb and has been at the Manchester Museum for 80 years. But in recent weeks, curators have been left scratching their heads after they kept finding it facing the wrong way. They now believe there could be a 'spiritual explanation' for the turning statue. “time-lapse” video? Holy Gumby, Batman, how could that happen? Vibration from machinery or air conditioning unit in the building and an uneven, non-perfectly flat base on the statuette. Note that at about 180 degrees it reaches a stable point.

I got in the car one day and started hearing an odd buzzing sound and didn’t figure it out till my coffee cup reached the windshield and slid down and spilled.
I set up some kind of resonance when I got in the car causing the cup to walk across the roof.

The statue appears to move only during the daytime. My guess is the vibrations from the floor from footsteps are affecting the statue. Or not. Good, good, good ...good vibrations. I kinda like the curse angle myself.
