A 17-year-old Jersey City boy was shot in the face early today during a game of Russian Roulette with another boy, according to police reports. A juvenile, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, tampering with physical evidence, possession of a firearm by a minor, and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, police said.
The 17-year-old Claremont Avenue boy is in stable condition at Jersey City Medical Center, police said.

It could be just another example of what passes for "reporting" these days, but I'm pretty sure, in most places, if you deliberately shoot someone else in the face, it's called "attempted murder" or "assault with a deadly weapon."
