To say I'm shocked at Coulter's assertion would just be a lie. This is Ann Coulter. She says ridiculous nonsense on a regular basis. But on top of her magically ridiculous statements, the oh-so-reasonable Sean Hannity -- the host who should rein in commentary on his show that has gone completely off the rails -- simply let her statement stand. Sure, she just said that gun violence is an issue only with communities of color, but whatever.
Since when are people of color Americans? If gun violence affects only them (which it doesn't), then we don't really need to address it!
So, quick question: With these shining staples of the right wing, why should nonwhites feel comfortable with the Republican Party again?

Savages. A very descriptive word. It suggests a lack of cultural and social development when contrasted against civilization. With respect to adult authority figures, it implies negligence, whether willful or otherwise, in directing social development and instilling moral values.
They need to be returned to their tribes where they will most certainly fall under tribal justice laws. Our laws are made for a different class of people.
Tribes? I'm sorry to say that there is no monopoly on such savagery by any specific "tribal" group. There are plenty of savages to go around for all races. What you seem to be focusing are the higher percentages within certain demographics, I guess.
What gives one pause, I think, is the realization that there are some who are so ashamed of these demographic realities that they are willing to tolerate such behavior rather than acknowledge and repudiate it.
Amongst the most affected demographics, I suspect there's also a measure of fear involved with respect to speaking out more forcefully against such sociopathic cultural forces.
I believe we're seeing it in the Zimmerman case at this very moment.
No doubt the Muslim community experiences something similar.
I'm skeptical of that. Do the English figures account for race? Blacks commit a disproportionate share of violent crimes there as well:

They show that among those proceeded against for street crimes, 54 per cent were black; for robbery, 59 per cent; and for gun crimes, 67 per cent. Street crimes include muggings, assault with intent to rob and snatching property.

What's happening to her now is FAR more outrageous than some utterance she probably shouldn't have said at a time when the rules about that were far more nebulous.
