To say I'm shocked at Coulter's assertion would just be a lie. This is Ann Coulter. She says ridiculous nonsense on a regular basis. But on top of her magically ridiculous statements, the oh-so-reasonable Sean Hannity -- the host who should rein in commentary on his show that has gone completely off the rails -- simply let her statement stand. Sure, she just said that gun violence is an issue only with communities of color, but whatever.
Since when are people of color Americans? If gun violence affects only them (which it doesn't), then we don't really need to address it!
So, quick question: With these shining staples of the right wing, why should nonwhites feel comfortable with the Republican Party again?

The murder rate for non-Hispanic whites is about the same as for the European murder rate. The murder rate for Hispanics is higher, and the rate for blacks is highest. If you separate out the non-European-descent demographics, what you have is the European rate.

I ignore political correctness in my own life. But, as we see in cases such as Paula Deen, some powerful people take political correctness very seriously, and take it to extremes. So, we need to take notice of how and why liberals are so influenced by nonsense such as political correctness.

Let me give you another set of facts.
My state has the highest per-capita gun ownership east of the Mississippi.
1 in 4 in my county drop out of high school. Only 1 in 10 are college educated.
A large number of people live at or below the official “poverty” level.
Drugs, especially methamphetamine, are common.
Yet, in my county in 2012, the total number of ALL murders was...0. Exactly what it is in most years.
Violent crime in total is very low.
If guns are the problem, then how is this so?
First, Paula Deen is a registered Democrat.
Secondly, 94% of all violent crimes committed against blacks are committed by Democrats.

Not what she said, or implied. Gun violence is a product of black CULTURE, something you can FIX. It's not a product of black SKIN, something you can't change.
Political Correctness, ie, Cultural Marxism as it was originally named,
is solely about suppressing the telling of truths that thwart the advance of Marxism.
In 2012 in NYC blacks and hispanics committed 98% of all shootings. Whites accounted for 1%.
