Heads up, Saturday night race! Camping World tomorrow night, Nationwide Friday night.
I’m also at an age that if I did have a 20-something girlfriend:
A) My wife would kill me. If I wasn’t married at the time,
B) I’d have to buy a back friendly vehicle cause I’d.....well, you know.
Whaddaya know, Dale Jr. won a pole. Kyle Petty says Danica isn’t a race-car driver and I saty Kyle Petty isn’t an announcer.
The MC C300 looks like a nice ride and what is it with Subaru’s and Obama stickers? You don’t see many here anymore but invariably they’ll be on a Subaru. Eco friendly vehicle??
Hit 94 here yesterday - not bad - but the humidity was a killer. We are normally in the 18-19% range but yesterday it was 34%. We are cooling down to the low 50’s so the heat is incessant.
As to the Subaru and stickers, maybe it's mostly true just in "high concentration" areas?
I live in the heart of NASCAR and, for some reason, I never noticed these cars until I actually bought one. Anyway, now that I do, the only sticker I usually see is the standard advertisement sticker the dealer slaps on.
I got here by way of Chapel Hill and it might be more true there. I remember sitting at lights behind those cars and pretending it was a speed reading test where you try to read all the stickers before the light would change.
I have to admit, on some cars I failed the test. (Your turn, Mrs. Wood)
Thinking about it, it's true that side of the population has succumbed to the dark side in religion, politics and social engineering, but they have generally very good taste in things and places, from Apple to San Francisco to Boston to Vermont and Maine and points in between, including, unfortunately, many very fine machines like this OB.
I'm going to use this to my advantage, like they do. In my world, I am surrounded by the Beast worshiping dark siders and who knows, maybe the OB will allow me to slip past certain defenses, just as obama and company have done.
Maybe I should call it "Cognito", since when I'm in it, "in country" so to speak, I'm always incognito.

Have a race scheduled to start in a couple of hours, but I looked at the radar...
TDF got off to an interesting start, bus got stuck under the finish line arch, so they changed the end of the race, bus unstuck, change the end back, but not before most of the field wrecked.
Jr. won a pole and Raceview is free on Nascar for this race (I was going to say tonight..., but I am unsure if they will get the race in tonight).
Which most popular driver has the best shot at a win?
Danica or JR?

Due to rain tonight’s race has been postponed until tomorrow at Noon EDT.
Not sure that’s going to help. IIRC Thunderstorms expected Sunday.
Darn thread thing is going on again, at least for me, actually a first for me, where threads don’t load past a few posts. So I haven’t been able to see past post 8 for an hour or so.
Anyway, race postponed until noon ET tomorrow.
