There hasnt been a sighting of a White-throated Needletail in the United Kingdom for 22 years, so nearly 80 birdwatchers flocked to Scotland this week to get a look, the Telegraph reported. But instead of enjoying the worlds fastest flying bird soaring, they watched it fly into the small blade of a wind turbine and die.

Fret not, according to Darwinian theory, the surviving birds will prove to be stronger, smarter and will not fly into wind turbines. At some time in the future we will be waist deep in bird poop because all the birds have learned to outsmart nature and their enemies both natural and artificial.
That was NOT nature.
If I recall, they spent many thousands rehabilitating that otter then watched as it had only seconds to live after being released.
So, who is pleased with this outcome.....PETA, GREENS, GOREBULL WARMING FOLKS?
It really is kinda sad, but then again...that’s life.
