Tom is dead on here, you don’t need any range finding mil dot with a .308 at 1 to 200 yards.
We all shoulda bought a High point 40 cal carbine when they were $145
Where can I find a inexpensive semi auto .38 super?
I don’t know where the Armscor ans RIA offerings went to.
Here’s a great indoor, modern, state-of-the-art range 12 miles north of MD line. Freedom Armory. 17 miles south of me.
Most amazing range and selection and accessories. Good friends w/ owners, and gunsmith.
I’m taking all my firearms in for 3hr app’t to ‘removate’ accessories, on July 10th, with owner and gunsmith.
He wants to to come work part-time with trucks/weapons unloading, ammo, computers, inventory and will pay for an FFL for me if I want to go full-time. Thinking about it in 2 stages...
Here’s a Google pic.

Breakfast and bullets? LOL
We love Lady’s on the range, and we all love some eggs over easy.
AR15.com always has meet and eat events.
That is what we do at TCMS.
Everybody has a good time
I can deal with the floods; central & northeast PA is under 3-7ft of water, but we’re all on nice tall hills. No flooding danger. Some of the lower roads in the farmlands are dicey; bridges compromised but blocked-off and under repair.
IDPA is great
Floods suck.
I am glad you aren’t inundated
Paul Mauser lost an eye.
Aight gang.
I’m headed for the sheets.
I will be down at Mickeys range this 4th of July and I plan on doing some burgers on the grill down there.
So now NSA knows where I will be and when.
Yall are all invited.
Bring some watermelon.
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
Ain't that the truth.
Pretty much.
We could use a little rain right about now.
That guy reminds me of Clapton.
I just sent it along because of the zen thing.
Nice !
I believe this to be true...I have shot a McMillan (Big Mac) back in the day out to 1800+ yards, and gotten hits...
With the equipment available today to the civilian market, 2000+ yard shots are absolutely attainable...You just have to get it setup...Like they said, very few places available to do this at, unless you have some private property or friends with enough room for you to do it in...
The BORS system does give you the ability to get a “cold bore” shot on target a little easier...That’s why I bought it...I have about the same setup on my BMG...
The only thing you really need to think about is still a basic skill you need to input on your shot, making the right “wind call” is critical as well...
A lot of things can happen to a shot, even a 600+ gr bullet can get off to a bad start if you don’t pay attention to that breeze!!!
Just my dos centavos...;-)
