The best steak I have had was from a small restaurant off I 65 about mile marker 208 south of Bham. It is Kountry Kitchen. Some of the best food we ever had was on The GrandLuxe Train when we toured the NW Nat”l Parks for about 2 weeks. It was delicious even the beet soup. Nothing like eating while going through some of this country’s most beautiful scenery. Sad to say, they closed the year after we went. Love riding the rails.

If you have never tried it, sign up for a Caribbean cruise in January. It is mercifully mild weather, the sea has so many shades of turquoise I have never seen anywhere else, the scenery changes every day, and the main even on a cruise ship is fine dining. They offer you 4 main entrees and 4 dessert choices with every meal and never see the same item twice during a 7 day cruise. And if you do not like any of the entrees, you can always order the basic broiled steak or chicken breast.
