Tonight, I was listening in to the Michael Savage show while I drove home from buying new sneakers. First, he had on a nutritionist to speak out in favor of fish oils and debunk the new study that's come out against them. Then he launched into his now-familiar anti-Zim diatribes. He had on a few callers who said, "I agree with you", which pleased him greatly. He reiterated that Zimmerman caused the whole problem by (1) being a policeman wannabe, (2) having a loaded gun with the safety off [thanks to Freepers here, I learned that sort of gun has no safety, so M.S. is full of baloney about guns], and (3) precipitating the incident so that Zimmerman had to defend himself.
Anyone catch the M.S. show tonight? What do you think about his continued yada-yada about why George Zimmerman should be found guilty? I just can't believe he is adopting this weirdo position.
He’s lost it. GZ defended himself and he did so with a gun. Anyone who believes that should be illegal is an idiot.
Haven’t listened to him since his time slot changed, but I know the obnoxious cycle you’re referring to. He and Beck both do that, so they enjoy being listened to only when nothing else is on, and then only if they’re of sound mind.
I think he an Bob Beckel should get together, two all emotion no reason robots as far as Zimmerman.

I’m convinced that Michael Weiner (d.b.a., Michael Savage) is mentally unbalanced. Sometimes he sounds like Pat Buchanan on steroids. Other times he sounds like Chris Matthews on steroids. Still other times he sounds deeply depressed, almost to the point of being suicidal. No matter what, everything is all about him.
This guy has been off the rails for some time.
Turned it off as soon as he started into his ranting spcculations based on zero evidence and, such as in the case of the continual policeman wannabe comments, made in ignorance of the evidence brought out at the trial. Zimmerman applied to the police force and was turned down because of his financial situation. Given the chance to try again he chose not to do so. Further, Zimmerman, when offered a position where he could wear a uniform and ride in patrol cars as an auxilary he turned that down. Apparently he did not want to be a policeman so much that he was willing to persist or take a position that could enable him to work into the force when it was offered to him.
Michael Savage’s dealing with this case has been an illustration of utter ignorance accompanied by self delusional patting himself on his back for his supposed briliance. His habitual diatribes against lawyers seem to have blinded him toward being able to correclty analyse the legal process at work or learn enough about it to make accurate observations.

He’s an enigma. I think he takes these positions just to disagree with Limbaugh, Levin and Hannity whom he appears to despise.
Savage’s problem is that somebody had a gun, that’s what he takes issue with.
He still babbles about “a round in the chamber” and “taking the safety off”. Clueless.

Problem with Savage is you never know who shows up. Listening to him is like walking on a field with land mines.
