Yeah grits are a southeastern thing....we don’t do grits in Texas ;^)
The waitress at the pancake house in VA Beach was trying to get me to try them. She was appalled that the yankees who do try them sweeten them with honey or sugar or syrup.
Which apparently isn’t done.
