Xshub sold his dad’s house at auction a few weeks ago up there. It was bought by a Bosnian. Auction means cash on the barrelhead, no financing. He got maybe $20k less than others in neighborhood were asking but it also means they buy “as is” so nothing had to be updated and there’s no home inspection. It was clearly the way to go for a seller who lives 6 hours away

It sure makes you wonder how these immigrants have CASH to buy a home, when U.S. citizens don’t.

Those “real people” are probably the reason we’ve had major lawsuit reform here-it started with workers comp, and then went to other areas, including medical malpractice. Homeowner liability limits are rather small-not enough to attract a serious con artist-and it is a good thing...

If you hear of another buyer like that who wants a big house in a rural neighborhood-as is, no warranty-please let me know. This one is even “green built”, and the price is very reasonable so that I can move on...

Neighborhood is mixed, but more Hispanic than Anglo-no Bosnians, though...

They probably saved their money to get here-not spent it on credit cards and stuff, like people do here do.

Frugal, multiple family members saving towards a common goal. He was paying private school tuition in Utica bc schools were so bad, wanted to live in New Hartford because its the best school district around. Seems a decent hardworking sort.

I’m sorry to hear about your neighbor.

I think the last attractive hair-do Hillary had was when the horndog was in the WH-she has no sense of style in any other area, either. I don’t dress for success at work, but I don’t have Hillary’s income/job, either. If I did, I’d likely put on the glam every day-hair in a fancy updo, business dresses and accessories from some store like Needless Markup, designer makeup, etc...

Hillary’s hairdo in the pic didn’t just scream dyke, it screamed bull-dyke. Probably taken while she was campaigning for the senate on her “listening tour”. My neighbor was black and Billyboy was still the ONE. I am not sure why there was no pic of him and Bill as there has to be one. I know he met him. Air Force 1 landed for Bill to give a speech, of course Billyboy couldn’t be on time, so he sat on the plane for hours.....outside in the freezing cold was my neighbor on live TV waiting for him to come down the steps. It was a Sunday morning and I recall saying to myself...that’s what you get for not being in church, you get to freeze your a$$ off. RME My neighbor was a devoted Dem. Despite that, he was a really good person. He will be missed. His family is all grown up now and all were very charming. Sad to meet again like this though.

Do you know what he did the hour before he died? He had come back from rehab (new stents in his heart) and mowed the neighbor’s lawn as it needed mowing and they can’t do it themselves. Some people just chase after sainthood.
