ARCADIA, CA, July 26, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Pro-family leaders reacted with stunned disbelief this week to the news of a settlement in the case of a Southern California girl whose parents filed a federal civil rights complaint against their local school district after their daughter was not allowed to sleep in a hotel room full of boys during field trips, despite her belief that she is a boy trapped in a girl's body.
After two years of investigation by the Obama administration's Department of Justice, the Arcadia Unified School District agreed to a settlement in which they admit no wrongdoing, but will allow the teenage girl, who is about to enter ninth grade, to use the facilities of her preferred sex rather than her biological one, as well as to participate in activities intended for boys only.
Additionally, they will provide sensitivity training for their staff and faculty and add “gender identity” to the definition of “gender discrimination” in the district’s anti-discrimination policies.
That means from now on, the school district will allow students to use the showers, restrooms, and sleeping quarters of the opposite biological sex if they identify as “transgender.”
On Friday, conservative and pro-family leaders took to Fox News to criticize the decision, which they say is unfair to other students at the school.

He said the girl’s classmates are unhappy about the settlement. “The restroom can be a very personal thing for kids growing up,” Johnson said.
Andrea Lafferty of the Traditional Values Coalition also criticized the decision. “We are seeing a trend here nationally where we have individuals who are psychologically unhealthy who are always getting with they want, but what do you do about the hundreds of other children in the school affected?” she asked.

Randy Thomasson, president of SaveCalifornia.com, told Fox News that the DOJ overstepped its bounds in investigating the case in the first place, which he says had nothing to do with civil rights.
Attorney General “Eric Holder needs to reread the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and find out that civil rights are based on an unchangeable, immutable characteristic,” Thomasson stated. “You cannot change your genes or your gender. You have chromosomes and they are either XX or XY. This is a girl who has been environmentally warped to believe she is a boy, and, instead of coddling this confused child, her parents should have gotten her into counseling with an expert on gender confusion.”
Leftists label everything a “civil rights” issue because they know that people don’t want to be viewed as a person who opposes civil rights.
I would like to know more about this “thing’s” parents. Pictures, names, some background data. I’d also like some interviews with the neighbors. I highly suspect that this “thing,” which wants to call itself a boy, has been sexually and psychologically abused by it’s parents.
When I was in the 9th grade the girls had boobs and our hormones would rage. Does this girl have boobs and have 9th grade boys changed? They had a cage between the boys and girls side of the cafeteria.
If that roomful of boys had decided to make their daughter a temporary plaything, they'd be suing as well.
And then when one of these transgendered “boys” is gang raped in one of the nastier schools, her family will sue. Oh, and that person’s life will be irrevocably damaged.
Insanity.
I personally think we should change the tag “homosexualagenda” to “freakshow” because anymore it is just that. In the past one had to attend Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus to see anything this far out.

Stop right there. You need not say more. We all know that will happen. They are just begging for that to happen. Then that girl will really be messed up for life.
Here's hoping most of the faculty and staff will boycott any "sensitivity training" activities. And if threatened with reprisals, I'd like them to stage a wildcat strike.
Oh you can bet the first girl who doesn’t want to shower with a “girl*” will be accused of a hate crime or something.
Except for making laws to protect existing rights which the states have amended to the Constitution as evidenced by Section 1 of the 14th Amendment, and also to protect specific voting rights evidenced by the 15th, 19th, 24th and 26th Amendments, the states have never granted the feds, via the Constitution, the specific power to protect gay-rights related issues. .
Why are crazy people being allowed to participate in overnight field trips in the first place?
Maybe the school districts being sued need to “settle” their differences with the litigious parents by requiring the parents of crazy school-age children to contractually indemnify the school districts from any liability arising from granting permission for the activity demanded by the parents to occur.
I wonder: if improper — ahem — “touching” occurs, can the parents be sued by the district for pimping their little confused darlings?
But her parents and the DOJ will see to it that the heterosexual boys subjected to this indignity and temptation would be even more messed up for life: arrest, shaming, trial, jail terms, sex abuser registry, reputation and financial ruin for the parents, etc. etc.
I never in my life thought I would see Satan so active in this nation.
If she really thinks she is a boy she is already messed up for life
Well, I saw something along these lines at a former employer.
I was present at a meeting with a flamboyantly gay (read, "attention whore") gentleman. He loudly announced, "I can do this, it's OK, because I'm gay!", turned to the (young, blonde, pretty) girl sitting next to him, and grabbed her breasts with both hands.
He quickly found out that, indeed, it's NOT ok. He was fired that day. The funny part is that he later sued the company, claiming that he was discriminaed against because he was gay. Corporate counsel took care of the problem, fairly rapidly.
Just the premise that she is a “boy trapped in a girl’s body” is demonstrably false. If she was really behaving like a teenage boy, she would want to keep using the girls’ facilities, because that’s what every teenage boy dreams of.
She thinks she is a boy, but she doesn’t have the first clue as to how boys actually think, because she isn’t one.
I like that! I will use FUBAR instead of LGBTQ forever now.
