Having seen the penetration of even marginal pistol rounds through multiple auto body panels and interior trim, I’m going to get technical on you and say that an auto represent *concealment* much moreso than *cover*. “Cover” being something that will reliably stop a bullet, which is more rare than frequently thought, as the following article discusses:

I have all of the above and the snubby is just what it is concealable.


A stainless Ruger GP100 5&5/8” can be concealed in Phoenix. Oh Yes; 140 gr. Silvertips alternating with 148 gr. Black Talon and 2 identical speed loaders. (Thank You Ken L. Null). Sleep with it too.....under the pillow.

Why not stagger JHP/FMJ in your carry magazines, let the recipient deal with the “mixed results.”

Done it elsewhere, just not too comfortable doing it in a PPK.
