RAF silences channel guns


Just watched a program on them. They were originally designed for offensive purposes for the invasion of England. Could reach several miles into England I think. Interesting to see an article on that. Don’t think I have read much about the guns being used, only the planes being used to bomb England.

Different world back then. 20,000 laundry workers? Of course after the war, washers and driers became big sellers.

Looks like flyover country is getting its fill of Roosevelt and his commie buddies. FDR might want to start thinking about ditching his commie VP for someone more middle of the road next year.
