I know we'll never get to a point where we've "won" but is anyone else just feeling DRAINED lately??
We're having to fight tooth and nail every day, calling Senators, calling Congressman, protesting, signing petitions, yelling at Senators and Congressman.
Obama is trying every which way to screw this country.. either through illegal immigration, the health care law, weakening the military, or shoving gays in our faces.
As Rush said.. the point isn't to compromise. It is to DEFEAT them.
But don't despair.. If we can take the Senate in 2014.. we can make Obummer a lame duck President.. and maybe even impeach his sorry ass.
My pols are in fairly red states.
So I feel like they SHOULD be listening. And giving them hell over the phone actually has an impact.
Eventually their house of cards HAS to collapse.

I hear businessmen.. such as the founder of Sonic or other huge Corporations say they could not have started out under these regulations.
I also pray that I'm wrong. According to my lovely and gorgeous and patient wife, I'm wrong all the time. But even she has conceded our own hopes and dreams so that we may focus on how to help our kids succeed in the new authoritarian government that will be the USA they grow up in. She also brags about how smart I am (go figure). She says she excepted my marriage proposal because the earning potential seemed extraordinary (we joke). Even she blames the government for my lack of financial success (we ain't rich yet). LOL - But we still do enjoy life and have a great and healthy family.
To the point about the business folks. Like race relations, the left doesn't want to talk about what made this nation great. Ambitious people, encouraged by the open opportunity to create great wealth, used their talents, took risks, failed while daring greatly and succeeded beyond what was often even imaginable. Then those people went out and spread the wealth by creating jobs and creating "things" that made life better for others (consumers). RICH PEOPLE made America great!
I used to work with many VERY wealthy people (investors). They are still wealthy today and I keep in touch with a few (former clients). They are out of the money making business and are on cruse control for the most part. Today they are not taking risks beyond what is needed to keep ahead of inflation. For many of them at that level, the money is simply the tool to play in the game they love.

A society such as we are these days does not come back from where we are now...the future for this nation & the rest of the West is going to be very different than it has been. At best we become a sort of Brazil. At worst....
I hate to think that.. but I am afraid you may be right.
The best we can do then is slow down the road to destruction?

I recently talked with someone who plans on running for President in Haiti.
That country is hella outta control.. but they believe they have some factions that can turn it around.
And they’re using the Free Market, and trying to eliminate entitlements to do it!
