The Small Business Majority, an advocacy group working to influence public policy, says that small businesses are facing higher costs due to extreme weather conditions, including floods, droughts, blizzards, tornadoes, hurricanes, and a rise in sea level many claim is a result of man-made global warming. “Small businesses are particularly at risk from climate change and the extreme weather events it causes and must take steps to adapt,” the organization said in a new report. …

But when CNSNews.com asked the group’s spokeswoman how small businesses can be negatively affected when there has not been any significant global warming for the past 15 years, she responded: “The Small Business Majority and the American Sustainable Business Council prepared a report on climate change preparedness, and how small businesses are vulnerable to massive losses in the event of extreme weather events.” …

However, according to data compiled by the National Hurricane Center, an average of 5.6 major hurricanes struck the U.S. during the last five decades, compared to an average of 8.4 over the preceding 50 years. …

Thats true. If you look into most of these groups you will find the same people. They are also receiving large amounts of fed tax dollars and employ advertising agencies to create the perception they are a large mainstream organization . Actually the truth is they are run out of a livingroom at someones house. They use virtual offices rented by name at some impressive address and have virtual telephone services with many extensions all going to the same phone. CAIR is a good example of this type of group. When they make public appearances for media the rent crowds to give airs of legitimacy.

All a person needs is a fax machine, a computer and some fancy letterhead and they can become any advocacy group they desire. Fax “news releases” to MSM outlets and, if they are controversial enough, they will give you nation wide exposure. For good measure, put a place on your website or facebook page for donations to you cause and you will rake in millions.

If you want to get at the head of the beast, look into a group called the Aspen Institute. This is where goverment and corporate ideas and people interact. This is where your lower generals are trained. I retired from a large energy company and if you got to V.P. level you had to go to one of their “Retreats” to get your lobotomy. If you didn’t have certificates from this group hanging on your wall you went nowhere up the ladder. If you research the members list you will be amazed who you will find. Many seem like contradictions as a lot of goverment policy seems be at odds with their business.
