People use Reddit to discuss all sorts of topics. Many discussions are lighthearted, others are serious, and some are dark. A recent post by Redditor Pilot94 falls into the latter category.
Posting to the r/OffMyChest section of the site, Pilot94 wrote a post titled “I should be in prison.”
As noted by Gawker, the post starts with some background information: the author was a military child who’d moved all around the world. His family then settled in a small Texas town. The author reconnected with his fifth grade crush, and they started to date. After three months, she cheated on him. He became angry and started selling drugs and committing crimes. He never was caught, though.
One night some girls from his school called him and a friend up. The author was 18 at the time and the girls, although he believed them to be 15-16, were actually 13-14-years old. They all got drunk and started having sex in the back of a truck. But on the way back they were all pulled over by police.
“Then sh*t hit the fan,” the author said. “The girls accused us of raping them, getting them drunk and supplying drugs.”
It gets worse.
All three girls claimed to be virgins to the police. The police did a rape test on one of the girls, and they found vaginal tearing. The police opened up a full-fledged investigation, and the author was expecting to spend 10+ years in prison.
But suddenly, the lead detective and police chief of the town were fired. And, the author claims, he and his friend never heard from police again. The author went on to say how grateful he is for being giving a second chance in life, and says he and his friend are both living out their dreams in the military and college.
As Pilot94 is now finding out, the post was probably best left unwritten. Fellow Redditors didn’t take the story lightly, and one person called the authors university to tell them about what he had done.
“Now, I’m being looked at by my supervisors and almost certainly [getting] kicked out,” the author said. “Which will ruin my life.”
The thread has since been closed and there is no word on whether the author has been kicked out of school or punished.
Here is a screenshot of the entire post:
Sounds like the case could still be re-opened
There is never any excuse for an adult to have sex with a minor and it is never forgivable. Getting them drunk and giving them drugs should make the punishment 5x worse at a minimum.
Reddit and Gawker are Dem-owned and libtard central. Because libs love criminals, it must be the military angle that set them off.
Bizarre, huh?
Not really. Pretty typical stuff for Reddit. I used to lurk there some. But the level of sicko perversion over there was too much.
A guy spills his guts out on Reddit
And the readers have made him regret it
The moral is clear
Tell a priest, shed a tear
But on Reddit, self-edit, forget it
The problem is there are feral females everywhere these days, raised to be whores by absent parents and a corrupting culture. Before we pulled our kids from public school, I saw 13 year old girls who were indistinguishable from 18 year olds, and some had tattoos and wore slutty clothing. We couldn't get our daughter out of there fast enough.
Yep.
A lot of the parents were raised the same way unfortunately, they have no idea how to discipline a child
Very good!
Party Barge full of girls with a cooler of beer pulled up to the dock at the singer of my band’s place. Playing in bands attracts girls. Lot’s of girls. Sometimes under age girls even at clubs. Bouncers are easy that way. Well, sometimes they do look over 20 and they’re not. So this is where TALKING to them keeps you from doing something stupid. Like asking “where do you go to school”. If they say they are going to high school in the Fall. Walk away.
If the guy is telling the truth (who knows if he is?) the girls willingly got drunk with him and apparently led him to believe they were older than they were. In many states 15 or 16 is the legal age for consent to sex. Once they were pulled over, they accused the guy of getting them drunk and raping them and then admitted their real age. They may be telling the truth, but they also may not be. Girls aren’t all sweet and innocent, you know. I’ve never pulled any crap like that with a guy, but I’ve known plenty of girls who have or who say they have. Only this guy and those girls really know what happened - and God.
Him getting angry and going off and selling drugs is a stupid way to handle life’s disappointments, but it isn’t atypical for a kid his age either. It doesn’t make it right, no, but we shouldn’t be too quick to judge when none of us have the facts. I pray that whoever is truly guilty gets found out. But that may not happen on earth - that may have to wait until the Day of Judgment.
Reddit is a vile site with some of the most hardcore liberal lunatics I have ever encountered..
Umm....this is nothing new. Not by a long shot.
No, it is not, and many young men (not just musicians) have encountered such. I believe that most manage (by some combination of thinking with the big head, sheer dumb luck, and the Grace of God) to avoid doing anything criminal ... but it can be a close call, sometimes.
As you and I can probably attest as we are today, we see this type of thing and say, "How can anyone be so stupid?"
But upon reflection, I say, "How did I ever survive being 18?"
Seriously ... a 14yo girl who looks and conducts herself like a 21 year old woman is attractive to a normal 23 year old man. At 18, or at 23, we faced a real problem of discerning the age of the young ladies with whom we wished to consort. 15 will get you 20.
At my current age, if I weren't married ... even a real 23 year old woman wouldn't be terribly interesting except in the abstract.
There is always a spoilsport in a crowd.
