Good Morning Class. Welcome to School!

Here is my example with WFTD.

Joe Biden has risen up to say he's against the contumacious types of republicans, so could we please not elect any more of them.

Ironic that Joe Biden himself uses contumely in his false accusation. How contumacious of him.

The word in the “contumely” form appears in Hamlet’s famous “To be or not to be” soliloquy from Act 3 Scene 1.

Members of FRee Republic are recommending that students in monterey CA be deliberately contumacious over the new order that nobody may wear clothing with pictures of bears, replicas of the State flag, or the letters NorCal or SoCal on them. I’l be back with the link.

The word in the “contumely” form appears in Hamlet’s famous “To be or not to be” soliloquy from Act 3 Scene 1.

It is also in the lyrics to a very old standard:

Contumely my melancholy baby...

A+++ great info! we have had the word contumely in class here before. Noteworthy because it’s a noun but the LY ending def makes you think adverb.

Well, looks like the world’s liberal “philosophers” have crossed from not only openly advocating and promoting abortion before birth, to now declaring directly that even those who simply protest “abortion after birth” must be silenced.

Contumacious? Now the “professional ethics” journals who want infants to be killed are far past that little limit!

Obama hates skies that are spacious
Amber waves make him feel contumacious
His only real game
Involves shifting the blame
In a manner that’s vile and mendacious
