Word For The Day, August 13, 2013
In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
There, I’ve sounded it out.
The talented Kim Carnes, yes indeed.
And you beat me to it.
I dunno. Wardrobe malfunction?
The precocious parsnips populated plentily presenting a plightful plethora of pickled piths.
New Senator Cruz is precocious
Conservative leanings ferocious
When contrasted with Teddy
The old guard’s unsteady
Left-leaning, corrupt and atrocious
Can someone just ask the simple question, that makes him go away.
“how did you know rhe girl wasnt 18, so how can your judgmemt be trusted”
If Kim Carnes married Rod Stewart, their kids would sound like Charlie Rangel.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that!
I’ve wondered that myself - he is dang lucky he wasn’t sexting with a kid!
Haha - I’m not a rod stewart fan so that is really funny!
Yeah, but his “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?” perfectly captures the ethos of an entire decade.
I can’t help wondering about these kind of people: were they precocious growing up? Mommy & Daddy probably encouraged this “self-expression.”

Ugh...he looks like a girl with a big nose
However, the premise relates to the culture of corruption, in the media, and the Democrat party.
Why is no one asking?
Mr. B is going to come to my house tomorrow to go over the appliances with me online. I am relieved. He and his wife just 10 months ago replaced all of the appliances in his house. He said the quality these days is crap, and not to expect the new stuff to last as long as what we currently have. Our house is 14 yo and the only appliance we have replaced is the dishwasher, and the only one we have had serviced is the refrigerator, to replace the waterline in the icemaker i think once or twice. No problems with the oven or the cooktop. i called a few places to get quotes on cooktops and in the process learned that a 5 burner would necessitate some pop up vent situation that was going to cost the same as the dang cooktop itself! ain’t doing that! that guy told me that jennaire is the only one who makes a 5 burner with a built in vent, and gave me a quote on that, so i will check with Mr. B about that.
the other issue we have been having, and Mr. B is on the way to the house now to check it out with his electrician, is that we have recessed lighting in the kitchen and the lights burn out CONSTANTLY. we wonder if it’s something with the wiring. Same problem in the master bath. No other rooms appear to have that problem. It’s maddening, bc xshub has been buying those bulbs by the case and needs to switch out 1-2 at least every other week. can’t be right.
Great that he is going to help you with appliances - and I agree that appliances are not what they used to be. My Mother went through several refrigerators while still in warranty - finally got one that worked!
