"those are sins, too"

Oops, now RGIII has stepped in it. He just called homosexuality a sin.

Here he is trying to be PC, and steps in it.

How long until he's made to apologize?

While we're on the topic, WHY must every NFL interview now include questions about gay players?

Are they trying to trap some more Reggie Whites, so they can be shamed/shunned?

And ESPN can get all huffy?

“Homosexuality is wrong but hetero men are just as promiscuous as homo men. Homo men just have more willing partners.”

Nailed it. There’s a reason there are no hetero men prowling the shrubbery of public parks at 3 in the morning looking for free anonymous sex with strangers: Lack of women willing to participate in such things.

I think baseball is the sport that will be most affected by its first openly gay player. That guy is going to be able to crowd the plate, every time he is hit by pitch it’s going to be a question for some people, right?

“... would accurately refer to themselves as homosexuals or sexual deviants....”

I prefer the old classic, queer.

if I’m in the NFL and gay, and noone knows it....why would it be to my advantage to “come out”??

It’s a good question. Adulation from the media, guarantee your name will be remembered after your career is over? Possibility of different standards for penalties/calls you are involved with, a slight edge in future contract negotiations? Of course all those things would only be possible in today’s climate, 20 years ago it’s not even a question, in my opinion.
