So, is this the new safety technique? We show you exactly, right in front of your eyes, how easy it is to get shot by someone who has failed to follow basic gun safety instruction. Any questions? Yes, you in the front row with the blood coming out of your arm?

Not good at all, but how many car accidents happen each day because of people not thinking and being complacent?
Probably nobody wants to kick himself in the a$$ more than the instructor.
Never had an accidental discharge myself, but have seen some at the local range.
That's why some buddies and myself built our own shooting range, too many *cowboys* out there.

Piemonte said the instructor has been calling him regularly to check in.
“It makes me feel good that he is so concerned,” he said.
There is absolutely no excuse for this incident. If there is a need to demonstrate “a self-defence techniques” it would be appropriate to use a solid rubber training aid.
The instructor is concerned because he doesn’t want to get sued and/or stomped into a pulp.

New law allows schools to teach gun safety to first-graders. I just love how that non-sequitur sentence is thrown into the middle of the article. Agenda much?

Why was there live ammo in the classroom?
Why were there people in front of the pointy end of the gun?

Ohio requires instructors to receive certification through
other governmental agencies to qualify as a CCW instructor.
My guess is that the instructor is a retired LEO
who has been trained with Cooper Rules all of his life.

Too bad for the guy who got shot that he decided to break all four of ‘em at once.
