Lisa Robin Kelly, who rose to fame as Laurie Forman on That 70s Show died on Wednesday night, her manager told FOX411.
She was 43.
Unfortunately, Lisa Robin Kelly passed away last evening. Lisa had voluntarily checked herself into a treatment facility early this week where she was battling the addiction problems that have plagued her these past few years, her manager Craig Wycoff said. I spoke to her on Monday and she was hopeful and confident, looking forward to putting this part of her life behind her. Last night, she lost the battle.

I bet you liked Red Forman.
Loved Red Forman. "It's simple, Eric. Bad things happen to you cause you're a dumbass!" Now THAT'S parenting I can relate to!

It so reminded me of high school when i went... it was at times, raunchy... but the writing was clever...

I wonder if that is why she disappeared from the show for really long periods of time.
Yes it was. She was eventually fired because she couldn't stay sober. The character went away for about a year and then was recast with a different actress for the final season.

But addiction implies there is no choice.
No it doesn't, "addiction" means one doesn't have the self control to separate themselves from the addicted substance.......

I thought it was VERY on-target to when I went to high school in the 70’s. I had friends who were like every character in that show. Except Fez.

All of her “Friends”.
Like my dear ole Maw used to say “with friends like that you don’t need any enemies”

women go blond for a reason... they really do turn more heads... i am a natural brunette with good hair... a lot of it, thick... luxurious... i have gone red and blond, and let me tell you, blonds get more attention...

It promoted the kind of behavior that killed her.

... why would she allow this pic to be taken?
That is a mugshot from a previous arrest.
Given the way they treated her character on the show, I'm not surprised. Of course sometimes the character the other characters dump on is actually their favorite, but there was such a vein of real nastiness in the stories involving her that it made me wonder when I watched the show.

(Its like 1933, mixed with the Carter 70s, plus the books 1984 and Animal Farm, all at the same time.)

A lifelong teacher told me years ago “You can’t save them all”. At the time I thought that was an unusually cold and uncaring statement, but increasingly I’ve learned that she was right.

Double dog damn. I had the same thing happen to a girl I knew in high school. Ran into her thirty years later and she was a toothless shell of the woman she was before. I had tears in my eyes as I walked away.
Drugs are horrible things that destroy the soul.

I find it hard to believe that this is a real picture of her... why would she allow this pic to be taken? She didnt realize how bad she looked? It's a mug shot for a recent DUI.
Here's how she looked on the show:
