Pitt had an inauspicious debut in the ACC last night, getting spanked 41-13 by Florida State. I was suspicious that FSU was taking penalties just so they could make 3rd and 17s and 3rd and 30s.

The recovery has been inauspicious
Despite the left’s outspoken wishes
The Keynesians lost
Now we all feel the cost
And the right is “malicious” and “vicious”

The offense had its moments, but the defense was just horrible.

Things have taken an inauspicious turn in the birthplace of the Arab Spring.

Of course this has gotten zero coverage.

I’m 1/3 of the way through Atlas Shrugged, which i had never read, and the similarity to our present reality is mindblowing. I knew the book was good, but i didn’t realize it would be this gripping.

It’s been a few years now, ok more than a decade, but what I think Ayn Rand did best is describe the vilians. They are with us in the modern day. Writing things like the “Fair Share Act” and “Anti Dog Eat Dog Act” isn’t all that far from what happens today.

The villains are front and center today! and those laws, and the DIRECTIVES which were not laws, but were foisted on the populace, are all with us today, with diff names.

i’m reading it on my ipad mini. the girls and i went to see the Heat, at the movies on Sunday PM. HILARIOUS. of course, i loved the Bridesmaids and it’s the same director and Melissa McCarthy is in it with Sandra Bullock. and i do have the sense of humor of a teenaged boy, but i LMAO. i love her.
So we got home and i went to read on the ipad and i saw something in the lower left hand corner and i rubbed it thinking it was something on the screen, and it turns out it was a spiderweb crack of some sort. i was just sick about it. went to the Apple store yesterday, about 95% sure i’d have to pay to replace it. The Genius bar girlie looked at it and said, well since it’s damaged, there will be a charge associated with replacing it, $219. i said ok, and she went to the back to get the replacement and came out and said, your ipad was cracked when you came in, but it BROKE when i pressed on it, so since the damage occurred in the store, the replacement is covered. i said, you are so sweet. It was so very nice of her to do that, i got the replacement for free. I have nothing but praise for the Apple store in Fair Oaks Mall by me. I have had nearly ever single Apple device i own, replaced bc of some sort of malfunction, it’s always done quickly, efficiently and without any balking. This time i knew bc it was damage, although i had no idea how the damage occured, there was no dropping etc. I figured there was no way they’d cover it. SO that truly made my day yesterday.

i have not bought a one. hubby buys them for me : )
The lease on the Highlander wasn’t due to be up until Feb, but the woman at the Toyota dealer called him and he said, well if you can get her out of the lease and into a new one, for the same $, we will do it. She did, and on Friday, i got the 2013 highlander, blue instead of the green i had. It does have the ability to recognize the ipod without wires, via the bluetooth, which was what i was dead set on. it has the computer stuff too, like his lexus, but i don’t see me using that much, if at all.
