Can you tell the difference between a quote from one of history's most infamous revenge-seeking megalomaniacs and Adolf Hitler? Plenty of people couldn't. This "Hitler or Taylor" joke started with a Pinterest user named Emily Pattinson, who juxtaposed pretty images of Taylor Swift with quotes from the "real Taylor Swift." The results are inspirational messages like this:
The problem is ... those aren't Swift's quotes. The quotes Pattinson was using actually belong to the likes of Hitler, Osama bin Laden, and Joseph Stalin and no one noticed. Pattinson's most popular post, as Buzzfeed points out, has 277 "repins."

But it's rare that anything comes out that's better listening than the music I already own.
There's the key quotation. At a national level, people have pretty much decided the sounds they like by their late 20s, and it is pretty hard to move them off of it. It is easier to take a less formed mind, and sell to them, preferably something still in copyright (so "Roll over Beethoven"). Even if you'd buy the CDs/downloadables, you wouldn't go to the shows, buy the T-shirts, Watch the cartoon, and make a favored performer a pivot point for who you are and the kind of life you will live. You're too busy doing grownup stuff. That's okay, tehy'll still make Merle Haggard and Hank Wiliams Sr. media for the likes of you!

Or they know her history. She’s nuts. Most of her song inspiration seems the be ex-boyfriends, and she piles a lot of hate in there. The first couple of dates with her might be fun, but at some point you’ll wind up in the “hope she doesn’t kill me in my sleep” portion of the relationship, and that’s never fun.

9/10 correct. And I will state publicly for the benefit of any spy agency that I am neither a Hitler nor a Taylor Swift groupie...although I did meet Taylor when she was 15 and starting her career...her autograph is kept with my important papers...Hitler gave me nothing.

Swift is an utter no-talent, a bubble-headed creation of her handlers. Listen to any of her live performances (if you can stand it). She couldn’t carry a tune in a basket. Her range is very narrow and her pitch is all over the place - anywhere but in the center of the note.

She is considered to be quite pretty. So that is supposed to make up for her lack of actual singing ability.

So far her demons seem to be satisfied writing really mean hateful songs, but you know how certain anti-social behavior tends to get worse as a person gets older. Someday telling the world her ex has a tiny winkie just ain’t gonna be enough for her.

9/10, I missed the “Long live the walls we crashed through”; though it’s so nonsensical I should have guessed it to be a lyric.
