Or are you just responding to his subliminal suggestions?

It was going to be a shaky year anyway, but losing our all pro center Pouncey was not good. Also lost linebacker Foote for the year.

Never has a season started with such a wondrous sign and then had everything after turn to crap.

finished Atlas Shrugged on Sat PM. what a good book! and it was made especially enjoyable bc so many freepers have handles taken from the book, that when i would come upon a character , the name sounded FAMILIAR to me, like it was the name of a real person! 1100 pages in a week may be a personal record.

Unfortunately, the old bod is becoming less and less “risible” when that urge strikes in the middle of the night, and early matriculation is more of a concern ....

It is a risible statement to say that Obams is not a dictator.

The desire for bombing tents
Of some has begun to show-
Mad McCain is barely leashed
Poised and ready to go

Cooler heads say “no”, since
The justification is risible-
If Obama was before a judge
It just might be inadmissible

Some other country’s civil war
Just isn’t our game to call-
If we persist in the madness
We’ve learned nothing at all...

He was hilarious with Scott Hamilton, the Olympic skater last night. They both have great senses of humor and to see them hug, with Scott below his chest, was priceless. They gave him a Predators jersey with NEALON 60 on it. He’ll turn 60 in Nov.

I’m so glad you enjoyed it-my first read of it showed me the sense of my parent’s and family’s belief in personal liberty and responsibility, and every time I read it again, those beliefs are reinforced even more.

so much of it, full paragraphs and pages should be c&p’ed into something, they are so appropriate for today.

weds at the latest, was the last i heard from them. i have arranged for the housecleaning to take place on Thursday so they better be done completely by then. Got quite a bit of stuff put back away in the new cabinets this past weekend. i am hoping that the backsplash will be done when i get home today. i’m most excited for that.
xsboy will have a new kitchen to practice his new cooking skills in. He is taking 2 gut classes this, his senior year, one is a cooking class. It meets for 3 hours every Thursday. It is given in a kitchen and they make something every week. First week it was omelettes. This past week he learned to make a ROUX [think he was surprised i knew what it was!] which they added cheese to, to make mac n cheese, and they also made chili con queso with it, along with homemade salsa. This week is supposed to be “searing chicken and shellfish.” SOOO glad we are paying $50k per year for him to learn to cook! he dang well better get a job when he’s done! he’s also taking a class in COACHING. he said there are 4 SU football players in that class. The teacher said there would be random men in and out of the class, making sure that the football players were actually attending.

of course you didn’t have any athletes to keep eligible at CMU, Pitt did, wonder what they took.
