I actually invented this as a kid, without any knowledge of Arnold Palmer’s efforts. I wanted some lemon in my iced tea, but my mother didn’t have any lemons. She did have a pitcher of Wyler’s lemonade, and I mixed the two. But do they call it the “Southside Chicago Republican”? No, they do not. Screwed again!

Sorry, I invented it about ten years ago in the Texas heat. You must have heard about it and had a dream about your childhood. Don't worry, that happened to a lot of people, especially waitresses who liked to come up with a golf player name for it when I described what I wanted.
