Natalie Maines is the biggest country music singer in America.
Remove ‘-try music singer’ and you are much closer to the truth.
“The Hollywood Reporter tried to get comments about the war from Sarandon and Robbins at the Toronto International Film Festival this weekend, but was told they were “unavailable for comment.”
Must be that “chill wind” blowing.
Right you are, Steely Tom.

Conservatives were for the Iraq War but now against a Syrian war....I see no difference. Perhaps Susan and Tim are either not sure yet or are for the war. The whole thing is upside down.
No difference? Well, for one, we weren’t flying daily missions over Syria for years and getting our planes shot at by a regime that openly harbored known terrorists who were confirmed to have killed Americans.
They never cried about the ‘A Chill Wind is Blowing in This Nation...’ when it was leaned that the IRS was used to suppress voter participation.
Because like ALL progressives : they are intellectual frauds.
We have done the exact same thing to Iraq with Syria....sanctions, signed documents etc. Saddam killed....The Syrian President killed. I agree with John McCain on this one issue. Let’s just be done with this mess and knock out the factories....at least put them back a few decades as far as making the weapons. It does not matter as we do not have a say anyway. I just find it funny and very interesting how it all is going down and who is for it and who is against it. The liberals and conservatives are on the same side. Glad I am not on that side.
"Let me explain to you how this works: you see, the corporations finance Team America, and then Team America goes out... and the corporations sit there in their... in their corporation buildings, and... and, and see, they're all corporation-y... and they make money."
We have no business in Syria. We should allow those people to destroy each other, because we have no national interests in that country, and both sides wish us ill and will harm us if they get a chance.
I don’t give a rats anus who is for it and who is against it. We shouldn’t be lending a hand, prestige, money, assistance or blood to either side.
Furthermore, as far as I am concerned, what we did in Iraq in April 2003 was 16 years past due. We should have done that when the the Iraqis fired two Exocets into the port side of the USS Stark.
Same for the North Koreans. They are going to get theirs one day for the USS Pueblo. One day.
I guess 2 years is not long enough. I guess by 2025 perhaps we may FINALLY do something in Syria. We are in so much trouble. Having Russia be the leader is just awful but conservatives are part of the problem on this issue....I just can’t believe it.
Freaking hypocrites!
Having Russia turn out to be more economically conservative than the USA and lecturing us via Pravda is by far more galling to me.
The Soviets/Russians have been involved in Syria for decades. They had/have major longstanding trade interests with Syria (possibly their biggest trading partner). We have not, and never have had anything of the sort.
The US being a leader of brokering any kind of involvement in Syria would be similar to the Chinese brokering some kind of resolution of a situation in Canada.
Honestly, “they all look alike”.. “What difference does it make?”..
Coming together rather nicely (Dems).. sadly at the cost of our country :/
Thank you, Saul Alinsky.
Two stupid a-holes that don’t make a half.
