He bought an arena football team and wants Tim to be his QB. If Tim is serious about staying a QB and not moving to another position to stay in the NFL, he ought to consider this.

This is off the subject so forgive me, but does anyone know how you can legally wager on a college football game? I know there is plenty information out there that says you can, but I read other links that says you won’t get paid if you win. I live in Georgia. I’d like to hear from someone who has experience with online betting and getting paid when they win, and it being legal.

The bigoted sports media has made Tebow radioactive over his Christianity.

He has more wins in one season than our starting QB here in Jacksonville (where Tebow’s family lives, BTW) has in three; but the Jaguars won’t even consider him.

Heh, I like Kiss. Saw them and Rush open up for Blue Oyster Cult at Lock Haven in 1975.
Everybody was really, really loud.

I wonder if Tim has any eligibilty left in college? He can enter Grad school at Mississippi State and save the hide of his mentor Dan Mullen who is on the hot seat.

He used up his four years eligibility at Florida. Even if he had any remaining, he's played football as a pro. Can't go back to the college game after that

I bet 1975 was the last time those three bands appeared in that order. Or with each other at all.

Well, it wasn’t 1975. I just checked it out (thank you, interweb!) and found the exact date - - September 15, 1974.

Rush and Kiss opened up for Blue Oyster Cult, which is the band I went to see.
‘7 Screaming Dizbusters’! Yeah!

Rush and Kiss did a lot of touring together back then.

Simmons: ”He’s proud to be a Christian, what’s wrong with that? And yet, with sports media and pop culture media, they make fun of his religion. Really? In America? If he was wearing a burqa, they wouldn’t dare say anything. But if you’re a Christian, you get to be picked on? What the hell? The guy’s got family values. I never saw the media picking on Michael Vick for torturing dogs. Or this other football player, who’s alleged to have killed, committed murder. That’s ‘cool.’ But a guy who’s religious and has got family values isn’t ‘cool?’ He’s cool to me.”

This means a lot to me coming from a guy named 'Chaim'.

I was never a big KISS fan, but in light of that statement, I have newfound respect for Gene Simmons.

KISS does what they are paid to do. Rock 'n Roll as loud (or louder) than you can stand. :-)

Mr. Simmons has been an outspoken conservative voice for quite some time. For some reason, I thought he was Jewish. Couldn't tell from this interview. Of course, a lot of Jews speak up for Christians. Those with memories know how persecution of any group goes. He's actually a pretty intelligent fellow. I think the makeup throws some folks off a bit.
