A Saudi woman was bitten by a poisonous snake while walking back home in her village in the Gulf Kingdom but survived after having treatment at hospital.

Three weeks later, she was bitten by a wasp and died.

The 26-year-old woman was returning home from a shop in her village nearly 130km from the southwestern town of Najran, when she was bitten by the snake.

She was rushed to hospital where she was treated with antibiotics and discharged a few days later after she fully recovered, Sabq newspaper said.

“Three weeks later, the woman was bitten by a wasp and was taken to the same hospital, but she died just as she was admitted,” it said.

Yes I am, I try to pull no punches from reality

I am know in some circles as the “ice queen” and my heart is a frosty shard of frozen carbon chilled to absolute zero in a near bose-einstein condensate, ie coal...

Killed by Wasp? No way dude!

I saw part of their act back in 1987 at Monsters of Rock/Donnington. I was possibly the most disgusting "entertainment" I have ever seen, complete with a mock human sacrifice. I wouldn't be so quick to repeat their claims of innocence

It was...

I was pretty disgusting back then, too, but not very entertaining.

See what happens when you let these women go unescorted? If she wasn’t dresses so immodestly and provoking those creatures, she’d be alive today.

LOL, that’s what I was thinking. I don’t like movies like that, but I’d like to see that one, it’s just an interesting, clever concept.

Was stopped by one of the local wanna-be’s and given a ticket because my right rear tail light was burned out.

There must not be any crime or criminals where you live.

Either that or there is no revenue in actual police work.

The area I was passing through is not known for having a crime or criminals. Particularly since I’m older, I’m very careful about where I drive, particularly at night.

This one just really made me angry though. It’s not like I am able to see while driving at night that my right rear tail light is burned out. Had appt scheduled the next morning to take my car in for the annual safety inspection so they would have found it and replaced it then. Cost me $150.00. Policeman didn’t even ask for my driver’s license or proof of insurance.

Did write down officer’s name and badge number and wrote a letter of complaint to the Chief of Police and also don’t drive that way any more.

I was bitten by a camel spider in the KSA.
I opened a closet door down on the street level of my beautiful new, clean house, and it jumped up and out at me, about five feet (!!) and bit my left middle finger.
Within a minute the bite was purple and within five minutes the "purple" was spreading up my left arm. I went to the Clinic, was shot up with a ton of Benedryl (Irish doctor, named Dr. Murphy), stayed overnight there and was better by morning.
Scared the holy pie outta me.
NASTY BUGGERS those camel spiders. Never got to kill it either. Dang.
