"Adam Kinzinger is a political fraud who betrayed the Tea Party, for which he's now celebrated by left-wing kooks like the Washington Post's Dana Milbank. It didn't take Kinzinger long either. With dripping contempt for conservatives he solicited in 2010 to first win office, Kinzinger says he welcomes a primary challenge from the Tea Party. Let's hope he gets one and his butt is kicked back to Illinois. Conceit and deceit are not admirable qualities."

I hear him WLS-AM, as either being interviewed or as a fill-in talk host and it sure seemed to me the last time I heard him talk that he was "changing".
When he first got to DC compared to now, it just seems he has taken on more of a DC-ite mentality.

Part of the problem with these people changing when they get to Washington is the way they acquire their staffs. Most rookies get their staffs assigned to them by the already entrenched RINOs. The RINO staffs then set about to co-opt or corral the rookie. The smart ones who arrive knowing how the game is played, like Cruz, do their own staffing.

The Brit TV series Yes, Minister and later Yes, Prime Minister were pretty funny looks at this effect but the issue is deadly serious for this country.

Which is why, when I’m elected dictator, all senators and congressmen will be limited to TWO total staffers (and that includes a secretary/receptionist!)

He did the Combine’s job. He took out Illinois’ most conservative congressman, Don Manzullo. Serious, and unnecessary downgrade from a bought carpertbagger in a conservative district.

Or he was just, you know, lying to the voters when he ran for the office?

I love these insider postings about somebody nobody knows that claims to tell why they should. But not what they do, and where they’re from.

That's a big hell yeah.

Regardless what we do with congressional terms, the 15,000 permanent staffers who shuffle among the anointed are the power behind the stupid faces of government. These are the ones who toil writing the circuitous legislation and research the testimonies that will be heard.

That’s why I was hoping they would have to “opt in” to Obamacare- not just for fairness, but so that the so called “brain drain” would actually happen! If we get rid of some of the corrupt staff-and then start over, we’re bound to have a better country!!
