Another great one, Joel discussing with Larry King how Jesus isn't the only way to be saved. Guess Pope Francis watched this one. Either way it's amazing watching these two mental heavyweights mock the atoning death of Jesus Christ, without which NO ONE would be saved.

Not shocked at all. Remember the Lord said that in the last days even Churches will become COLD and he is not talking about temperature. I believe in Jesus Christ as my savior however I don’t attend because of this very thing. I notice what is important is to feel good and forget about SIN. The only pastor that talks about sin is Pastor John Hagee.

Not only that, but Larry King is Jewish.
Jesus is the only way to be saved, why would a Christian say or think anything else?

New Age Osteen
In all fairness to Joel Osteen, he didn’t say there was another way to heaven (other than Jesus). He simply said he believes Jesus is the only but he’s going to leave the judgment of others to God.
Osteen is one of the new aged feel good charlatans. The salvation he preaches comes from your wallet. I have never been in a “Christian” church that did not have crosses all over the place.
But that's not the issue here.
Osteen was obliquely accused of denying that Jesus is the only way to that he believes Jesus is the ONLY way but he leaves all judgment up to God. And he said this in a conversation with and in response to questions from Larry King (who is Jewish).
Not all churches are like that, and not all preachers are merely trying to fill the pews (and the coffers.)
It might take some searching to find it, but I’d bet there’s a church near you where the gospel is preached in earnestness and love, and where the people are disciples/students/followers of Christ rather than mere networkers and social-clubbers.

We are all sinners but when you choose to defend someone preaching false doctrine you might as well condone it. I have sat through a few Osteen performances on tv so I could see what he was about. I hear him mention God but not once have I heard him say salvation is through Jesus Christ or anything close to it. He is nothing more than a seminar type, self-help orator.
But when you spread a lie about a man simply because you don't condone his preaching, you become a liar.
That said, I made no statement about his preaching.
Most tv evangelist are in it for the fame and money. They are not Billy Grahams. You can spot the phonies by the lives they lead, mansions, expensive clothes, cars, vacations, etc. Sounds like our president don’t they?
The Holy Spirit has driven me out of a couple of “DEAD” churches, He gives you no peace until you obey.
Many who think they are Christians because they believe that good deeds and a belief in God is enough to get them into heaven are in for a very rude awakening in the Great Tribulation after God has Raptured those that truly have Jesus sealed in their hearts and minds.
How long God will put up with world wide sodom and gomorah we do not know, but it can’t be long, even for our Long suffering GOD of love and mercy has an end to His patience.
You are right, I do not condone any preaching that is not in lock step with the Bible. You cannot leave things out just because you don’t like it or don’t want to offend people.
Besides, what did I lie about? If you have ever heard him invoke the name of Jesus Christ and announce He is the only way to the Father then by all means post me a link.
