Given the firepower some of those terrorists (collaborators with Obama) had, he was lucky he did not get into any confrontations...pistol verses rifle is not a good match usually. Kudos to him.
I read somewhere else that there was a former Brit SAS guy that did a similar thing during the attack. God bless them. It takes a whole lot of cojones to go in harms way like they did. But they would probably blow it off as no big deal. Just doing the right thing. Character counts.
In the end Character is all that counts.

These thread tend to focus on the gun, but they really should focus on the men behind the guns. However, the gun does help even up the odds a bit when putting them in harm’s way.
No more drone missions or smart bombs targeting the leaders, they can always get more leaders.
We need to make the guys at the low end understand that we will not stop until they are all dead. Only then will we have some semblance of peace.
As long as they believe that they can succeed they will be willing to fight and die for their false god. We have to make them doubt their unholy book by showing them that the true god is not with them or their cause by defeating them at every level, by killing them in every rat hole they hide in and by building church where their burned out Mosque once stood.
