"It's like a high school debating society over there...435 people all trying to speak at the same time, in two minute increments. Who needs that?"

Reid went on to say that as soon as someone gets elected to the House, they devote all their attention to getting re-elected, instead of doing the nation's business. Or, trying to figure out how they can elected to the Senate..

"They're always going on and on about 'The People's House.' My ass..I'm sick of hearing that. It's the Senate, and only the Senate that has the time and the experience to carefully debate and consider the crucial issues facing our country."

As he left the podium, Reid was heard telling someone that of course the Republicans would vilify him for his comments, but that wasn't fair, because they weren't partisan. In fact, Reid said, Democrats would love to get rid of the House because that would mean the end of the Congressional Black caucus, the Hispanic caucus, the Progressive caucus, and all the other idiots that manage to get elected to the House as Democrats.

"You have no idea how much easier it would be govern if we didn't have to listen to Nancy Pelosi, or Maxine Waters, or Jim Moran."

When asked what he would like to see done with the House chamber, and all the House office buildings, Reid said that he would support all the movements to create new states...he felt that a Senate of 250 senators would be just perfect..

The house most closely represents the people of America in DC. Hairy Roid is telling the people to shut up and let the house of lords rule at will.

Demented Dingy.

Where is his keeper McConnell. He seems to be missing in action the last few days.

Is McConnell still a leader (in name only)?

Harry Reid - 110 % for a dictatorship of the Democrats over all of the USA.

If there is to be a unicameral legislature, then, to preserve the fiction of “equal representation”, the Senate would have to be the one to shut down.

Nevada or Alaska would have a voice equal to California or New York. Is that proportional representation?

Really, so he just broke his oath to protect and defend the Constitution. He should be impeached or recalled

McConnell is laying low. Ted Cruz has demonstrated to the world what a real leader is. Cruz can mop the floor with McConnell.

When was the last budget proposed by the Senate?

For a minute I thought he had actually said this but this appears to be your “opinion”?

His officious, bullshit, unconstitutional attitude is exactly why the democrat party has always been an enemy to the Constitution. The National Socialist Democrat Party of the U.S. has worked for many years to throw out the Constitution and create a dictatorship. Their party should have been outlawed in 1865, its leadership North and South hanged and the rest run out of the country like the royalists after the Revolution. I’d take up arms against the douchbag if they ever tried to do that.

FUBO, FAD, down with the democrat party.

Satire, yes? Surely, Reid didn’t make these asinine comments.

Unh, did you not detect just a smattering of satire there? There are just some things Harry Reid would NOT do, and one of them is to ever make a public criticism of another (white) Democrat.

Harry airily dismisses black Democrats on a regular basis.

Compared to Reid, Obumbo was a capable Senator. Reid is beginning to make “Senator” Franken look patriotic and almost capable. I’m pretty sure Franken has done less to harm the US than Reid.

A long time ago. The senate like our douchbag president can only propose, it is the House that has to originate and pass on budgets and spending bills. That is what makes them mad; the fact that they do not have total control. F’ing democrat $h!tbags.

If the House went home, nobody would be in Washington, as the senate seems to think it can just stay home.
