Farmers from Gulf states have been invited for rare event
A Saudi farmer has invited his counterparts from other Gulf states for a rare chicken event not a barbecue but a beauty contest.
Scores of live chicken and cocks will line up at the farm for what is believed to be the first pageantry in the region to involve poultry.
Saudi farmer Mutaab Al Othman said he would stage the event at his farm near the capital Riyadh on Friday and that he has invited farmers from all other Gulf nations.
The contest will also include an auction for rare chicken some of the chicken have already participated in a similar contest in Germany and achieved good positions, he said, quoted by the Saudi Arabic language daily Sabq.
Al Othman said the chicken on show could fetch SR2,000-10,000 each at the auction, adding that some breed were sold for more than SR35,000 in a previous auction.
He did not make clear how they would choose the most beautiful chicken.
Saudi Arabia, the largest Gulf country, has already hosted beauty contests involving horses, camels, goats and falcons.
How about a Miss Porky contest, too. Heh heh heh
hehe!
I bet they already have a Miss Sexy Goat contest.
“The owner said his male goat fetched that sum because it is one of the rarest and most beautiful goat breeds in the region.”
Any young beauties that we should be roosting for???
The most sexually maladjusted culture on the planet strikes again...
It’s kind of silly to call livestock and poultry shows “beauty pageants.”
We let our kids participate all the time == only we call it the “county fair” over here.
A: Bi-sexual.
ugh a liberal female contest. I don’t think so..we can’t stomach that
