".....A relatively small cadre of Tea Party conservatives has somehow managed to tie Congress in knots, essentially forcing House Republicans to shut down the federal government until Obama and his allies acquiesce.. Where’s Rubio?
The list is not complete: Morgan Griffith (VA-9) and Scott Perry (PA-4) have been out there holding the line too despite targeted troll attacks.
He’s in the Senate. This is the House.
In every story notice who is getting blamed....Obama does not want peace. He is an evil demon dividing us so he can conquer. (Tell the lie often enough and people will believe it. Tactic of Hitler and Goebbels)
There is NO Doctor-Patient confidentiality if medical records have to be held by the government or their minion insurance companies.
The act will kill-off private insurance leaving the IRS as the doctor of record.
Why don’t they just let the folks who have insurance be grandfathered in? If you like your insurance, you can keep it. Should apply to all businesses and individuals. Have the subsidized affordable act for newbies. The govt just likes to know everybody’s business and have control over them through this govt fiasco. I don’t know if it adds a layer of safety from them if I skip the govt website and go directly to the insurance company for my individual policy. I don’t even want a subsidy, even if I have to pay more to keep their noses out of my business.
There won’t be “private” companies like your present insurance carrier...The end of all this is single payer government ran insurance...private companies are put out of business...
Why dont they just let the folks who have insurance be grandfathered in? ...
Forget the penalties (which the ACA law only allows the IRS to extract from your tax refund). Everybody pays for abortion and drug and alcohol rehab and sex reassignment surgery for others. REAL INSURANCE (e.g., Health Savings Accounts for day to day expenses, Catastrophic Insurance with a $10,000 deductable) is BANNED — you must buy their complete package.
Young people 18 - 35 will pay 3 times as much as today in order to subsidize the 55-65 group. Young people will crater this plan when they find they can not get insurance and not pay the penalty (if they don’t overpay their incometax deductions), and in the event of a catastrophy they can sign up for insurnace at the hospital check-in desk.
Why dont they just let the folks who have insurance be grandfathered in?”
Because it’s not about insurance and the government doesn’t really care whether people are healthy or not - it’s about control. Health insurance just was one of the easiest areas to target because it represents such a huge portion of our economy.
A small cadre? That looks like a pretty good sized group to me.
Surprised Garrett from NJ not in that group. He is usually solid.
Right. Thank u!
Because they law affects your current insurance carriers who will be FORCED to cover more things.
They will have to double your premiums, or go out of business.
But that is the goal- to force all private companies out of business.
I know! won’t it be great when the government controls my ENTIRE life???
I hope they decide I will be an astronaut.
