Tom Hanks Quips: ‘Four More Years’ For Obama

By Cheryl K. Chumley-The Washington Times October 4, 2013

Conspiracy theorists, be on alert. Hollywood icon Tom Hanks may not have been joking when he said he wanted President Obama to run for a third term — over the prohibitions of the Constitution.

Mr. Hanks, who’s starring in the soon-to-be-released “Captain Phillips” and was in Washington, D.C., this week for a premiere showing at the Newseum, declared his choice for president for 2016: Mr. Obama, The Hill reported.

“I’m voting for Barack Obama, 2016,” he said. “Yes I am. Four more years.”

Mr. Hanks reportedly laughed while speaking. But do a Bing search on “Obama seeks third term,” and the more than 2 million hits that come back reveal the notion is both widely discussed and widely reported. MSN, for instance, in August reported on an investor — Porter Stansberry — who claims the president is secretly planning a third term

100 years ago, Tom would have welcomed a third term for Wilson.

I’ve long believed that Obama doesn’t plan to go when his terms are up.

Hanks is an abortionist and homosexualist. The only acting the vile commie does is his masquerading as an American.

If he’s serious about this, he’s more foolish than Forrest Gump.

Hanks was in “Saving Private Ryan”

Guess that makes him a patriot.

Friday night my husband and I bit the bullet and saw Gravity with George Clooney, although Clooney is not one that was on our hardcore list. A GREAT DECISION and will tell you why.

The movie was chocked full of life, death and birth symbolism. In one particular scene with Bullock, that was incredibly embryonic, in that the only way of sustaining life was in a space capsule. She actually floated like a fetus with life sustaining “umbilical” tubes around her only to suddenly be ripped out of the “womb”. It reminded me of the violent, helpless struggle an unborn must sense attempting to sustain life, while an outer force is determined to end it. I LOVED IT because the idiot Clooney starred in an extremely pro-life, anti-abortion movie and probably doesn’t even realize it.

No way the dem party allows Obama a third term....

The black guy as president experiment cost them the House and might lose them the Senate ....

Dems love power way more than party...

The guilt of making an unimaginable fortune doing nothing but play-acting must be a terrible burden. So many actors become marxists to atone for their perceived sins of wealth and success. It’s just weird how marxism, tyranny and dystopia has such a magnetic allure to so many actors, writers, newspaper hacks, reporters, teachers, professors, union types, lawyers, and many others. Why can’t these people put away their childish utopian ideas when they enter adulthood?

I stopped feeding the Hollywood beast long ago.

I know some people who were talking about re-electing obama about two weeks after he was first sworn in. And they were serious.

The Constitutional POTUS requirements and Senate Resolution 511 didn’t stop him from being place in office. He’s said since day one he didn’t need the Constitution. I’ve said all along he’ll try to run a third term be it an actual race or martial law or full on dictorship. Even if he is moved out, he’s appointed so many of our enemies in key positions and heads of gov agencies that they will carry on.

I am sending a donation to Ted Cruz that could have otherwise gone to Mr. Hank’s most recent movie. Mr. Hanks, thanks for the inspiration.

Yet another leftist millionaire who has no concept of how the rest of us live. Not to mention that he works in a profession where do-overs are the norm. Actors are totally disconnected from those who get only one take and where lives depend on that one take. In the real world, a company CEO is faced with choices every single day, and making the incorrect choice could result in the company going under and hundreds or thousands of people losing the income necessary for their survival.

Not so with Hanks. When he screws up a line, they do another take. Then another. And another. Again and again and again until he gets it right. Come to think of it, that's kind of how Obama governs. He keeps voting 'present' until he gets to a point where his own personal political risk is minimized.

The last time I fed the Hollyweird beast was the last Harry Potter movie during matinee prices. The time before that was the previous HP movie. The time before that, HP. And HP before that, etc. Ha, Hollyweird had to split my ticket with England.

Tom Hanks is a crap actor and a shithead.

Hanks strikes me as a journeyman actor since he stopped wearing a wig and a dress. He mouths Liberal pieties in such movies as "The Green Mile." It was a nice fantasy, but no great work of art.

If Hillary is physically able to run in 2016, the Clintonistas will see to it that Obama doesn't get another term.

Hillary is a competent party operative and if Obama's handlers are unable to obtain a third term they will support her, otherwise they will persuade her by any and all means to sit it out.

What are the chances of a third term? The way things are going it would seem as good as electing a peanut farmer to the presidency.

Or more modernly, only if they prohibit visitors at the Iwo Jima Memorial by Executive Decree.

Our nation is within view of a historical crossroads, and is facing challenging times.
