Interviews reveal inconsistencies in Hannah Anderson case
CBS8 ^ | October 10, 2013 | Phil Blauer

In an interview on the Today Show, Hannah Anderson described when she first learned that family friend James DiMaggio had an evil plan for her. But the teen's interview also revealed apparent inconsistencies in her story....

"The point where I realized that something was wrong is when we go to his house and my mom's car wasn't there," she said.

However, in this video reviewed by News 8, Christina Anderson's Chevy Blazer is at the Boulevard home, parked next to the main house .....

"He drugged me and I was out, then I woke up in Idaho," Hannah said during the interview. "So I don't remember anything between there".....

But in a previous interview on Dateline NBC, San Diego County Sheriff Bill Gore said both Hannah and DiMaggio were "awake" when they were captured on surveillance video as they passed through a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint in Pine Valley at midnight.....

Finally, just minutes before agents moved in and shot DiMaggio to death in the Idaho wilderness, Hannah said he was trying to create a signal, which seems to contrary for someone who had just spent seven days running from the law.

"He was trying to start a fire to signal for help. Then all of a sudden the fire wasn't working. So, I told him, I said well I read in a book that if you fire a gun in the air three times that means S-O-S. So, he went to fire it once and I was watching him. And, then he fired it the second time but he like lowered it. Then a bunch of guns went off and I looked and he fell on the ground," Hannah said.

In her interview, Hannah Anderson never explained who DiMaggio was trying to signal, or why.

So then if he has kidnapped her and is running from the law why would he want a signal fire to bring in the authorities???

And if LE has been watching him all this time, then how come they shot a person trying to start a signal fire and firing a three shot SOS that they should be familiar with???

Sheriff Gore, would you like to address those questions???

” Then all of a sudden the fire wasn’t working.”

Probably went on strike.

Or was due to the sequestration.

Just think — if he had just waited two months there would have been no Amber Alert.

It is very possible for him to have given her a drug that sedated or anesthetized her without causing her eyes to close. When I have anesthetized animals, I put ointment in their eyes to prevent injury since the eyes remain open.

I think that’s entirely possible but I’m trying to imagine her taking Ambien in San Diego and then waking up 3 days later in Idaho. Would that have been with or without bathroom breaks???

I wouldn’t put much stock in this girl’s testimony. She gives off that compulsive liar vibe, big time.

What if the video shows her moving around in the vehicle?

Yeah, and if you are going to drug someone to kidnap them, you generally don’t prop them up in the front seat where everyone can see them, especially when you are driving through checkpoints.

At least, I imagine. Not talking from personal experience :)

Not if you’re trying to use the HOV lane. ;)

My understanding is that at the checkpoint there would have been atleast a half dozen armed bp agents there and they would have walked around to her side and asked for her identification —

Nah, most of the time they just glance at the occupants and then, assuming they don't look like illegal immigrants, wave them through.

That said, this girl's story has seemed hinky from the get-go. She may not have known what he did, but I don't think she went unwillingly.

Yeah, that’s what I would assume also. Maybe if she was a small child one could get away with saying “Oh, my daughter is sleeping, please don’t wake her”, but I don’t think that would fly with a teenage passenger.

“She may not have known what he did, but I don’t think she went unwillingly.”

That should be simple enough to determine, if the cops cared to do so. She says she was drugged... so do a drug test. Check if there are any ligature marks from being tied up.

Here is the previous article from this guy and what he said about the BP Checkpoint:

“News 8 wanted to know why Hannah didn’t try to escape or alert one of the armed, federal agents that she had just been kidnapped. But the Border Patrol and the Sheriff’s department have refused to talk about what happened. They won’t even confirm whether the checkpoint was staffed, opened or closed when DiMaggio’s vehicle passed through.”

yep

she gives off a creepy little “I’m wearing short shorts drinking Starbucks and yukking it up at my Mom’s funeral” vibe

and posting mushy stuff to her dead brother just like Casey Anthony did to her murdered child

I get the feeling the cops really don’t want to know, and just want to call this case closed

I love all of the headlines today like this one:

Kidnap survivor Hannah Anderson was forced to play Russian roulette

Did anyone bother to ask why a guy would put a loaded gun in the hands of someone he just kidnapped who just might use it on him???

BP checkpoints usually don’t ask for id. They usually just ask your citizenship. If you say “U.S.” they wave you through.

I have heard that when the Feds brought a surveillance helicopter close to their camp he immediately grabbed the girl and held a gun to her. This happened more than once so HRT was inserted some distance away and moved into the camp on foot. As soon as he was confronted he acted like he was going to hurt the girl, and he got shot.

The signal fire, SOS story is a delusion. Who knows what kind of wacky things were going through this guy's mind. He killed two people, drove 1000 miles to a wilderness area, and takes his cat.

The media is okay with speculation as news in THIS “trufer” case but anything with the president, global warming scam, etc. is “moonbat territory”.
