I remember running home from jr. high in the fall in 1968 to watch the Tigers in the World Series. :)

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a Dodgers fan but they’re all hype. Plus, Detroit is a sh*t lib city. Objectively, I don’t see anyone consistently beating those 2 aces.

Apparently the D’back ways soaked into their brains when they were whizzing in the D’back pool.

I always hate it when Miguel Montero hits a home run because I know I will now see him strike out many times trying to duplicate it. The Dodgers seem to be doing the same thing: every man a home run hero.

Yeah, hitting for the fences every time gets pretty old from the fan’s point of view, because of all the men we get to see stand 90 ft away from home for three outs. Show me a team that is at the top of the HR stats and I’ll show you a team that doesn’t make playoffs, or gets blown away in the first round.

I know Miggy can manufacture runs if he wants to.

The game was lost last night when you have bases loaded, 1 out, and Puig strikes out on a pitch that even a blind person wouldnt have swung out..thats when I said it..GAME OVER

I don’t recall baseball being played in Oct when I was growing up.

Today (October 13) is the anniversary of Bill Mazeroski's home run that won the 1960 World Series for Pittsburgh.

The Diamondbacks' baseball IQ is low. On many occasions I would hear the announcer comment on the pitcher's deadly pick-off record then watch Para get picked off. If the announcer knows not to lean too far off the bag against a particular pitcher, why doesn't the runner know?

That's one example but they do so many things wrong that way.

The Dodgers got to post season on a sheer glut of talent, but we are witnessing what happens when a team (the Cardinals) plays smart baseball.

Just keep those personal attacks coming and stay away from talking about the issue!

I urge you to watch the replay of Hanley Ramirez getting intentionally taken out of the game by the bastard Cardinal pitcher Kelly. Watch Kelly's precision strike here:

Cardinal pitcher INTENTIONALLY takes Ramirez out of the series then acts surprised about it

Yeah, the Cardinals will probably take the series, but job one for them apparently is to injure Dodgers in the batting box.

Also, do you have to tag someone with your glove in order for them to be tagged out? APPARENTLY NOT! Runner Ellis pushes Molina's arm so Molina never touched Ellis with his glove, but.. So what! Rules don't matter!:

Molina never 'tags' Ellis out! (VIDEO HERE)

Big talent, small brain.

As a lifelong Cardinals fan, and knowledgeable about not only the game, but about the Cards' management as well, I can say you're full of it. There was nothing intentional about that pitch. It just got away from him.

The Cards have never played baseball the way you describe.

Ellis was safe at home plate. See my earlier post. He was never tagged out. It’s pretty obvious whose side the umpires were on in these first two games. They also allowed Ramirez to be beaned with no repercussions to the Cardinal pitcher.

Puig the pig is why I’m rooting for the Tigers this year. Even though the game they play isn’t really baseball.

“Any day is a good day, when the Dodgers lose.”
