Last night, the grouchiest Internet-famous feline came to New York City to attend The Friskiesan awards show that crowns the best cat videos of the yearand to pick up a Lifetime Achievement Award, even though she hasn't even hit 2 yet. "In her short year and a half, shes accomplished so much," says Shawn Brain, brand manager of Friskies, which created the show. "So she seemed like the ideal candidate for the award." (The Friskies, now in its second year, isn't just about handing out awards: Friskies also donated 5 cans of food to shelters for every cat video submitted, so 330,000 cans went to shelters across the country.)
We sat down with Grumpy Cat and her humansTabatha Bundesen, her brother Bryan, and her daughter Crystalto find out all we could about this seriously cranky (and seriously cute!) kitty.

More pix, video at source.
I love cats. I used to have 9, but now have six since 3 died of old age. But I can’t believe Free Republic has a genuine interest in Grumpy.
Cool cat
I believe! Hallelujah!
Yay! Grumpy cat!!!! You are the best for posting.
Long live Tardar!
The coolest.
I am but a humble servant of Ceiling Cat.
I would suspect a Siamese mix. Look at pics of Snowshoe cats, which were an effort to breed Siamese with white feet and tuxedo markings. I have a pet quality Snowshoe and he is a darling.
I wonder if there are actually more dwarf cats being born, or if there is just more attention to them because of the internet.
I luv Grumpy but I think his Mommy has issues.
We all are. They have us wrapped around their little paws.
Even mean old humblegunner loves Grumpy Cat.
LOLOLOL!!
I watched some of the videos involving that little dwarf cat, and they were hilarious.
Awwww.... I love Grumpy Cat!
You raise a good point there. Issues/items/events which would have had only local attention before the internet now go world wide in minutes/hours/days.
LMAO!
