"What happened is that I wrote a post about Mal’ta but then talked to Eske and he seemed to be uncomfortable with having it out there, while he’s still under the embargo with Nature. I suggested I take the post down and he said “yes, that’d be better.” But, well, okay: it’s mtDNA U and Y-DNA R. No connection with East Asians but midway between West Eurasians and Amerindians."
