That is what it has now come down to. Will they (and others of a similar persuasion) hold to this commandment - or not?
Time to choose...
I happened to see Huck Friday night on FNC. Normally I don’t watch. He was nauseating in his scolding of Ted Cruz or anyone else who dares deviate from his way or the highway.
He accused them all of being like the biblical Pharisees. He said they were legalists and it’s they who are hurting the Republican party.
He said liberals aren’t hurting the Republican party. He practically denied there are any liberals there.
All this, while assuring everyone that he, too, hates obamacare.
As far as I’m concerned he has totally alligned himself with the enemy within (Establishment Statism).
And I can’t say I’m surprised, either.
I’m simply uber DISGUSTED.
What poster here at FR did I tell to shut up? No one.
You conflate telling elected GOPers that they need to shut up, with telling posters here to shut up, so you lied.
I told elected GOPers that they need to keep things in private, and shut up when it comes to airing things out in the open for people in the LMSM to feed on.
And I didn’t start the attacks on you, you started them on me.
Your ad hom preceded mine. Mine was justified. Yours wasn’t, as I did not attack you personally first. You said: “I’d say people should be limited to one vanity per day” before I said anything to you. There was no need for you to indulge in that talk in the first place, and thus, you need to go back to bean counting.
So I’m guessing I’ll see another new thread here within the span of 30 minutes implying the same thing - don’t air our internal grievances with RINOs in front of the children.
Sorry, it doesn’t wash - and you did imply we should keep our mouths and grievances to ourselves.
Whoa. Wow.
I think that Tea Partiers have found a very effective strategy here, thanks to some here who have come out of the woodwork:
The McCain’s, Graham’s, Ayotte’s, PeterKing’s, JebBush’s, Corker’s, etc, will NOT like being told to remember what Reagan talked about and “thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.”
Based on this thread amd others, we now have a way to silence their public bashing of Tea Partiers, elected Tea Party people, true conservatives, etc.
Excellent.
Reagan had to abandon it because he kept losing.
Secondly, it's about personal attacks and not about disagreeing with policy.
Tea Partiers now know what to say to Huckabee, McCain, Jeb Bush, Ayotte, Corker, peter King, etc: “Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.” A winning strategy against RINOs/CINOs here at FR and elsewhere.
My work on this thread is done...
The question is will I hold to Reagan’s 11th commandment when talking about Bush, Ayotte, McCain, Graham, et al. The answer is NO!
easy answer..... NO
NO!
This commandment has allowed RINO’s to infiltrate too deeply, and command too high. We need to drop this and admonish, point out Republicans who are not conservative, not adhering to the Constitution.
Will they? They break it every day!
They can all go to ....
tea party conservatives should call them “liberal republicans” to their face!
Enough pussy footing around.
Look at politicians as Liberal / Conservative instead of Republican / Democrat. All of a sudden, the “sides of the argument” become clear.
McCain, Graham, McConnell, Boeher, Ayotte, Collins etc...are all liberals. Liberal republicans
How many Conservative Democrats are there? I mean honest to goodness conservatives in the Democrat party. Are there any? Anywhere?
The political war is not being fought between Republicans and Democrats. It’s being fought between Conservatives and Liberals.
