Exclusive--Issa Confirms: Drafting Bill to Grant Legal Status to Some Illegal Aliens
Breitbart ^ | 10/23/2013 | Matthew Boyle

A spokesman for House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) confirmed to Breitbart News on Wednesday that the chairman is currently drafting legislation that would grant legal status to at least some of America’s 11 million illegal immigrants.

On Tuesday morning, The Hill reported that Issa was working on such a bill. “Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) has also started work on a bill that would deal with the immigrants living in the U.S. illegally, and has been briefing stakeholders on it for feedback, according to three people familiar with the matter,” The Hill’s Jennifer Martinez wrote. “It’s unclear when Issa will put the bill forward, sources say, but his aim is to jump-start a discussion in the House about the divisive issue.”

And the amazing thing is that it ought to be easy to put the Democrats away forever, once for all. But the Republicans pick up the Dem agenda and run with it. To wit: Boehner today talking “immigration reform”, and Issa the same.

We can’t win when the QB is playing for the other team.

I saw that CA already signed up 600,000 for MediCal under expansion. I lived there and I can guarantee you that they are seeking out the illegals and signing them up whether the law says they are eligible or not, and no one will get into any trouble whatsoever.

Yessir!

When and if, unemployment goes down considerably, then and only then can we consider some kind of "Operation Wet Back," begun under Eisenhower to meet the demands of some west coast growers.

Men came with permission (no families, distant cousins, etc.) and left after growing season.

That's the only way to handle a "shortage of workers."

We do NOT have a shortage of welfare recipients, slackers, criminals, drug dealers, etc. currently and until and unless we do, we don't need millions of invaders streaming in, crowding schools, emergency rooms, jails and court dockets!

It’s not just the QB, the whole team except for one Cornerback is playing for the other team, which has the same owner and GM as theirs.

With all those investigations Issa is doing I am surprised he has the time to sell us out on amnesty.

Issa is about as useless as a popcorn fart.

With enough staff, you can ruin everything!

Mr. niteowl77

(FWIW, I have long since given up on the "tenacious and tough" Darrell Issa, figuring that if he was actually going to be effective, Boehnhead would have him kicked off the GOP island.)

Did it ever cross your mind that Issa and his fellows Rino’s do not want to expose the truth?

As broke as we are, and with the politicians spending like drunken sailors ( no offence to the sailors) I just wonder how long until our financial collapse. Right after 2014 elections? Give them an excuse for martial law and complete takeover.

A few years ago there was even some local news broadcast on this, with interview of people claiming 16 kids living in a I BR trailer, another one claiming his nephews that lived in Mexico. Some Senator demanded investigation...

NOTHING happened! They’re still doing it!

Instead of the Stupid Party, republicans should be branded the Suicide Party. Now I know what happens when emos manage to live through adolescence - they become republican politicians.

I had kind of thought Issa was one of our guys. Maybe he was, once. That is what happens to congressmen when they get elected as conservatives. They get a better offer.

I think I’ve heard this song before. Something about “teaching the party a lesson”. Meanwhile, the democrats will get behind Hillary and leftists like Grayson and will continue to call everyone on our side names.

Hey, but at least we will get rid of those conservatives with whom we disagree.

God help our country.

11 jillion is the number they have been using for a long time. The actual number has been increasing rather rapidly as enforcment has declined then ceased and the number was way low in the first place. Amnesty will probably immediately apply to 14-20 million and the number will increase rapidly from there as the poor population of Latin America all head for the border. Amnesty will transform the USA into aLatin American third world world despotism very rapidly, a lot faster than we can be expected to learn Spanish, which may well become the primary language of government and the courts very soon.

And it worked out well for everyone. Those guys could make enough money to go home and live well in Mexico the rest of the year. I knew some of them.
Then the do gooders let them bring their families and gave them welfare, and now they are protesting and demanding citizenship.

They do not hear us. We must speak louder. Yell and break a few things if we have to.
