I’ve never seen Blue Bloods. I don’t even know which channel is CBS where I live now. I think my mother watches it though. She has natural lib tendencies stemming from that JFK guy, who she had a crush on, I think. That’s affected her brain throughout her whole life. She hates the evil rich. I don’t think she voted for Obama, but she definitely did not vote for Romney. Maybe 3rd party.

I have never thought about reporters on our side being allowed into Hitler’s plane. I guess how else would we know those kind of things. It makes me realize how recent WW2 was, though. They were doing the same things we do today, with the reporters. It wasn’t the way distant past the way it seems in my head. That’s how I imagine my kids thinking about 9/11. Like how I think of Pearl Harbor.

Many years ago I emailed Shep Smith at Fox to complain his overuse of "militants" when the acts described were terrorist.There was some back and forth; snippy was coming at me and the final swing of the purse used actual italics, "Well, who are you?"
In the interim decade the "in for Shep Smith, I'm Molly Mark" has come with great frequency on Friday or Monday.
Shep loves his three-day weekends--fine.
