A New Government Motto

New Government Motto

It’s scary how well this fits our politicians. ”If it isn’t broke fix it until it is”.

It fits almost as well as the older motto, ”Never enough time to do it right but always enough time to do it again”.

When the people elect the least qualified to lead, they should anticipate these consequences. Don’t expect improvement when the least capable of producing elect the least qualified to lead. Replacing Kakistocracy with Ineptocracy is never an improvement.

Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc’ra-cy)

A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

This is like the bureaucrat that thinks if one woman can produce a baby in 9 months, then 9 women can produce a baby in 1 month.

.
That says it all.

The failure of the Founding Fathers to not stipulate the voter’s qualifications doomed their enterprise from the beginning.

Mob rule is the rule.

”Never enough time to do it right but always enough time to do it again”.

Wow. I worked with a bunch of DBAs once that operated JUST LIKE THAT.

They’d release some buggy piece-of cr*p database application and when we asked for fixes? “Oh, no! We don’t have time for THAT — we’re WAY too busy working on the next release.” They didn’t even have time to fix broken backups for mission-critical databases.

This whole zero-Care website thing is giving me wicked flashbacks to those years...
