THe ACA has distempered our lives by forcing our current health plans to be canceled before new policies are put in place. Betsy McCaughey argues that this was a lie from the beginning, here: http://spectator.org/archives/2013/10/30/a-lie-from-day-one
“Sea bass? Are they distempered?”
Here's hoping that Obamacare will ultimately prove to be worse for the democrat party than it is for Americans in general. That's a tall order.
Don’t get your hopes up.
oh believe me, my life philosophy has ALWAYS been expect the worst and be pleasantly surprised if anything else happens.
It may be because I've just started sipping my first coffee, but I don't get the "sea bass" reference.
Dr Evil... Austin Powers...
Couldn’t get sharks with lasers on their heads because of endangered species act, so they had to get sea bass. At least they were ill tempered.
If the third party voters get real and vote republican, and if McAwful can be portrayed as a proxy for Obamacare, Cooch has a shot. I wouldn't bet any money you can't afford to lose.
LOL! Thanks for clearing that up.
A++
I’m sure the blame-shifting will reach new heights with Sebelius’ testimony. I hope that the republicans pound her early and often on how and why CGI (whom she will blame) got the huge, no-bid contract. The connection between the FLOTUS and her Princeton pal at CGI needs to be explored in detail.
Great rant. Thanks for the link. Maybe, just maybe, the accumulated weight of all of the lies of the past five years has reached a critical mass, and even some of the dullards on the other side are realizing that Obama can’t be believed, and therefore can’t be trusted.
If Cuccinelli upsets McAwful, and if the exit polls attribute the results to dissatisfaction with Obamacare, I think we are likely to be on the cusp of a sea change that will make 2010 look like a narrow victory. Every democrat senator in a red state will be running for cover, which might lead to who-knows-what when the next “fund the government” fiasco arrives.
oh he makes a great point, but you won’t convince the rabid purists of that.
it would be wonderful but i cannot allow myself to hope. i was severely traumatized last november, and it did lasting damage.
